Jesse's POV

I never believed what they said about Friday the thirteenth, apparently they are say that bad things are supposed to happen. But never did I think that the supposed fiction would become a horrifying reality.
I took in the school buildings and surroundings as I drove towards the entrance. It was apparently supposed to be my first day of school I had waited so long to be here and now I am, I felt thrilled.
I had heard about this University ever since I was born, my dad always told me this is where he met mom.
Mom, sadness thug at my heart as I recalled her. Her opaque silver eyes, long blonde hair and her smile that loving smile of hers...It's still hard to believe she was gone, it's been only a month since the rouge attack. Unconsciously I gripped the steering wheel hard as I thought about it. I took a deep breath to calm myself down. I parked my car at the furthest corner in the parking lot since it was the only parking space available. I got out of my car and made my way towards the administration block. I knew this school by heart, I had been here several times with my dad.
I entered and saw a young looking lady, she had blonde hair and dark green eyes. She looked up at me as I approached the desk.
"Hello, how may I help you?"
" I am Jesse Johnson and I have an appointment with the Principal"
Her eyes widened as I mentioned my name. I couldn't help but smirk, I was used to people reacting to my name after all my father was the Alpha King.
"Of course right this way Sir" she replied
She lead me into the principal's office
"Principal Dwayne, Mr. Jesse Johnson is here to see you" she informed him
The Principal immediately rose from his chair when he saw me entering .
"Jesse!, how are you??"
"Same old Uncle, same old"
"My deepest condolences sorry I couldn't come the funeral "
"I understand you were busy"
"So to what do I owe this pleasure??"
"To enroll here of course "
"I thought we agreed you would enroll next semester??"
"I couldn't bare it anymore, sitting in the house doing nothing"
"Well if that's the case...but is your father aware???"
"Well aware"
"Then he should have given me a call before you came I would have sorted out your paper work before you came"
"Must have slipped his mind then"
"It seems my brother is getting older by the day"
"Don't let him catch you saying that"
"Anyways you wait a little bit, you are to read computer science as a major and music as a minor correct??"
"That is quite right" I watched him as he mind linked whoever and spoke about whatever next thing I knew the lady from before who I am assuming to be his secretary came in and handed him a bunch of papers
"This is your schedule and some other documents you would need" he said as he handed the paper over to me "lectures are in session at the moment so you can go or skip and wait for the next on" he added with a wink
"Thank you, and Uncle I would like to keep my identity hidden and be normal for once and if you don't mind I will call you Principal Dwayne" I informed him
"Whatever helps you sleep at night Son, and Jesse from the way you are dressed if I didn't know you I would say you are a bad boy"
"I felt I needed I new look don't you think" I replied
"If you say so, just don't get into any trouble"
"How could I?" With that I left his office

Natalie's POV
It was almost noon and I still had two more lectures that day. I felt uneasy as if something was gonna happen. When I told Nicole she brushed it off saying I was feeling that way because it was Friday the thirteenth. But I knew my gut has never been wrong as much as I tried to forget about it I still felt uneasy. I just sensed something was going to happen. I stared blankly at the projector as Professor Gray grumbled on and on about algorithms it's been almost a month since we started the semester and he hadn't taught as any programming language. His class was gradually becoming my least favorite.
The bell rung signaling that it was time for my free period. I was the first one out as I hurried to the cafeteria to meet Nicole. Thankfully I got there before her so I sat down and waited for. I smiled as I thought about how far we had come, Nicole had been my best friend since grade school, we go way back and we have been through a lot together as well.
"Who are you thinking about bitch" Nicole sneered at me as I snapped out of my stupor "it better not be Elvis"
"What's wrong if I think about him?? He is my mate after all"
"So you were thinking about him" she stated with a smirk
"No I was thinking about you and how awesome you are"
"Yeah right you were" she retorted sarcastically I just shook my head in response since I knew she wouldn't believe me. Just then I the most amazing and intoxicating smell filled my nostrils and my wolf just muttered one word
"Mate!"
"What do you mean mate?? You already have a mate remember??"
"No mate!"
"Don't be stupid Lily,Elvis is our mate"
After I said that I didn't hear her say another word
"Hey are you okay?? You look disturbed"
"I am fine Nicole"
"Oh my God that is one fine hottie" Nicole said almost breathless looking behind me, I followed her line of vision and realized she was staring at the most beautiful guy I had ever seen. Our eyes met that instant, as much as I wanted to look away I couldn't. It was like I was drawn to him, I had never felt that way before not even with Elvis. He narrowed his eyes and growled
"Mine!!"
"No, no, no this could not be happening I already had a mate"
Before he could take a stop toward me I bolted out of the cafeteria leaving behind a very perplexed Nicole
"Hey! where are you going bitch!!! Ditching me for your stupid boyfriend again!!! So much for being my best friend " she yelled a loud, ferocious growl followed her words a growl which I knew didn't belong to her.
I knew something was up my gut is never wrong and today also happened to be Friday the thirteenth.
