London was a beautiful country. The beautiful Thames River, the Big Ben Tower, the St. James' Park, the buckingham palace... Everything have always seems to be elegant in this country. The scene, the air, the atmosphere... it was perfect. But why is it always seems to be a lonely country to him?
A young boy lives in the 11 5B Cookies Street; Cookies Street is somehow, significant, with its breathtaking scenery, the peaceful air, and also the neighborhoods' kindness. It is just an old-fashioned town; it is not very popular among foreigners. Though it is old-fashioned, this street has a great park added with many swings.
But then again, Cookies Street is always significant because of its scenery. And Cookies Street is not a place where car and motorcycle can just go around make pollutions. No, no. The people would always recommend them to just go by the underground train.
This street was also unique because of its motto, "Carbondioxyde, oxide and many other chemistry reaction or most known as pollution in motorcycle or car killed people. Not happening so fast, but slowly, it surely will kill you. So, everybody, please, from now on, let's put our respect more to nature. By doing so, you will rise your age as well." Thus, the rules were obliged and those who do not obey will be severely punished. It sounds complicated, but it's for the sake of the earth and the country England itself.
Back to the said young boy again. This young boy isn't like a normal kid who is always happy and cheerful. In fact, he would always looked like he was drowning with his emotion, always seems like he's sad, and always seems like he's overthinking things. That blue eyes of him almost never sparks anymore.
For a kid around his age, he's the tallest in his neighborhood. People sometimes wondered why the said young boy always seems sad.
Perhaps because he didn't have his parents by his side. Rumors, lies and whisper surrounded the neighborhood about the said young boy, about his sad face and about why he almost never smiles. The said young boy who didn't mean to eavesdrop to the two adult women in front of him talking about him could only careless.
The said young boy was Alfred. Alfred has no last name before he was adopted by the Redmond family.
He didn't even know the faces of his real parents nor did he ever think of meeting them. Alfred was just a normal boy living as an orphanage. No traces of his parent, no anything left behind. Simply nothing. So, it is okay for Alfred to feel nothing for his real parents...right?
The only thing that was found when Alfred was found is a wilting red rose right beside the newborn baby Alfred and a bracelet that was knitted handmade by soft fabric that in the middle of the bracelet was written his name, Alfred. Without no last names. Just the names Alfred. And probably just a stupid letter that wished that the orphan could take care of Alfred thoroughly because unfortunately, Alfred's real parents cannot.
It was a tranquil, peaceful and a soothing night following with the rains that keeps falling from the sky in the front door of the Seychel Orphan and the 11 5B Cookies Street. There was nothing out of ordinary.
Until rushed footages made splashed sounds.
A baby may born every minute, every hour and every second, right? Of course not in the same place but it was all around the world. The same goes for Alfred. Alfred was just born in this small little world; so helpless, so pure, had zero mistakes, and had no clues about the scary outside world and many other things.
But unlike other parents that would be overjoyed because of their baby was finally born, Alfred was just simply be put in front of the Seychel Orphan's front door. Not to mention that it was raining.
