Jade's POV

Lying on my bed I took a deep breath, knowing that I had to leave and go to Parker's house. Olly had already called to say she picked up Scar and they were on their way. I got up grabbing my bags, which were already packed, setting them on my bed. Grabbing one last bag out of my closet, I packed all the last minute things, and throw my bag over my shoulder. Looking at the bags I had stacked on my bed, I knew I wouldn't be able to carry all three down stairs and to Olly's car all by myself. Suddenly, I had an idea. Walking out of my room, I knocked on the door across the hall.

"Who's there?"

"Hey Willie?" William looked up from my laptop, surprised to see my face. "Do you think you can help me bring my luggage down stairs?" I ask him and he nods. The younger of my two brothers, William, is 6 feet tall and only at the age of 16. He followed me into my room, walking towards my suitcases.

"Jade," He said grabbing the handle of my bag. "Be careful, please. Don't go do something stupid just to piss mom off, " he ran his hand through his hair.

"Don't think I'm going to piss mom off because I'm not. I'm going because I want to go; mom has nothing to do with it." I pick up my phone seeing that Olivia is almost here. I started to make my rounds, making sure I didn't leave anything.

"I get that, I know that mom can be a handful," I mumble an agreement and he laughs.

"I'm going to miss you Willie," I say messing up his hair. "Hey I'm only two years younger than you, stop treating me like in a baby," he said and I laughed at him.

"But you are my baby brother," I say as he stuck his tongue out at me. "Yes, very mature." He just rolled his eyes and grabbed my bag heading down the stairs. I followed behind him, stopping at the door to look at my room one last time.

"Oh gosh I almost forgot," I said to myself running over to grab Nemo. Nemo is my white tiger stuffed animal that my grandmother gave me back in 4th grade. The main reason I love it so much is because it's one of the only things I have ever gotten from my grandmother. It's not like she's dead or anything, she just no longer in the picture.

"You are such a child Jade," Will said making fun of me. I just ignore him, walking down stairs to get to the car. As we walk through the living room my mom and dad are sitting on the couch. My mom sees Will carrying my bags, and stands up.

"William, go put Jade's stuff back in her room. She's not going anywhere." Ignoring my mom Will kept on walking, heading outside. I look out the window to see Olly's car parked outside. Smart boy.

"William," By the time she yells this he is already out the door. "Look what you have caused. Now even William is disobeying me." I roll my eyes at her and head towards the door.

"Jade," I turn around to see my father walking towards me. "Please stay safe. Call us as soon as you get to Australia, Okay?" I nod and he gives me a kiss on my forehead. "Love you sweetie."

"Love you too daddy." I give him a big hug and make my way back towards the door. "Bye mother," I said and walked out the door with a wave. Walking down the side walk I throw my bag into the back seat. Olly was in the driver's seat and Scar next to her in the passengers. William was leaning in the passenger's window, talking to the girls. When he saw me he stood up.

"Well I guess I'll be heading out," I told him with a half-smile. He walked towards me and wrapped me in a hug.

"Remember what I said," I assured him that I wouldn't do anything to crazy, and pulled away from the hug.

"Can you do one thing for me?" I asked him, putting my hand on the handle. "Don't tell Ethan until I'm already gone please," he laughed knowing why I said this and agreed.
