A/N: Hey guys, sorry this chapter is pretty short. I took some irrelevant stuff out, and afterwards it was a lot shorter than it was originally, and I didn't feel like adding anything else so please just bare with me.

Enjoy.

Deena and I were eating lunch together on Monday when Eric and Daniel walked up to our table. Daniel gave Deena a hug, and Eric kissed me on the cheek. I blushed.

"Good afternoon, beautiful," he said, smiling.

I blushed more. "Hello."

"So what movie should we see?" Daniel asked.

"I don't know," Deena said. "What's out right now?"

"Definitely not horror," I said.

Deena nodded.

"What's wrong with horror?" Daniel asked.

"Everything," Eric replied. "Not horror."

"We don't have to go see one," I said. "We could all just come over to my house and watch something on Netflix."

"What about popcorn?" Eric asked.

I gave him an incredulous look. "You think I don't have popcorn?"

He looked down, embarrassed.

"That sounds like a good idea," Deena said. "I'm not a huge fan of paying for stuff."

I looked at the boys. "Thoughts?"

"Sure," Eric said.

"Sounds good to me," Daniel agreed.

"Laura has two living rooms?" Eric asked, looking around.

I nodded. It was my week at Dad and Laura's, so we decided to have the movie thing at their house. We were watching Lego Batman on the TV in the upstairs living room.

Lego Batman was one of my favorite movies, but Eric had never seen it, so I insisted that we watch that. He seemed to be enjoying it so far.

While Danny and Deena were being all lovey-dovey with each other, Eric and I were just watching the movie. After a while, though, I felt him put his arm around me. I looked up into his eyes. He was smiling. "I love you, Cupcake," he said softly.

And then he kissed me.
