Today was the day that Luna Kane was going on Jimmy Fallon's The Tonight Show. This wasn't her first live interview, but it still gets her nervous every time.
Luna stood backstage with her phone in her hands before it dinged. She looked down to see a text from Paul.

Luna then proceeded to lock her phone and put it in her small purse she carried as an accessory.
"They're ready for you." The producer said to Luna who nodded her head and walked out to screaming fans.
Luna waved her hand and blew kisses to some before she sat down in the chair she was supposed to.
"Jimmy." Luna sang to Jimmy who laughed.
"Luna." Jimmy sang back to her.
"What questions do you have for me today? Any juicy ones that will expose me forever?" Luna joked as she propped her head on her palm and batted her eyelashes.
"No. Did I ever tell you that you're one of my favorite guests on this show?" Jimmy asked with a smile as he crowd got louder.
"Jim, stop. I'm blushing." Luna joked with a laugh.
"Let's just dive in with the questions and then we will pick one lucky person in the crowd to get the chance to meet the one and only Luna Kane." The crowd got so loud Luna covered her ears.
"Okay. Ask away. I'm excited to meet one of you." Luna said as she waved with a smile.
"First of five easy questions about your new show The Vampire Diaries. Who is your favorite person to shoot scenes with?" Jimmy asked.
"Probably Ian, because we've been friends since high school. My second favorite would have to be Daniel, because he always keeps me laughing. Sorry Nina." Luna said truthfully.
"How often do you have to work? Is it everyday like us normals?" Jimmy joked with the last question.
"It just depends on what episode we are filming that day. Most of the time it's during the weekdays." Luna replied with a nod of her head.
"Who is the most annoying of your fellow costars?" Jimmy asked as the crowd 'oooh'd'.
"Paul for sure. You guys think he's hot or whatever, but he's a pain in the ass. But, I guess I love him." Luna replied.
"People have been speculating that you guys are more than costars and potential love interests on the show. What do you have to say about that?" Jimmy asked as he wiggled his eyebrows.
"We are just friends and that's it. We are together all of the time, because we do film a lot of scenes together which comes to the potential love interests. Unfortunately, I can't say anything because I love my job and would like to keep it." Lune replied.
"We know that in last weeks episode, your character Ellison Elizabeth, went kind of crazy and killed over a hundred people. It almost makes us think that she is this seasons new villain. Are we going to see a darker side to Ellison?" Jimmy asked.
"She's definitely not the villain. That's Klaus this season. I can say that confidently, because his intentions had already been stated by Elijah. And who knows. Maybe she will go off the rails. Who will bring her back?" Luna asked with a raised eyebrow.
"We still have some time left, do you want to answer some fans questions?" Jimmy asked as the crowd got loud.
"I'd love to." Luna said as the crew handed microphones to a few people with raised hands. She looked around until she picked a blonde haired boy. "First, I wanted to say I love you."
"I love you more, angel." Luna said into her mic.
"Second, what's been your favorite episode to film this season?" The girl asked.
"My favorite scene has yet to been released, yet, but just wait for next weeks episode. By far my favorite episode and will most likely remain my favorite. Thank you for asking." Luna said with a smile.
"Next question." Jimmy said as the next girl introduced herself with a simple 'hi'.
"Hi, love. What's your question?" Luna asked as she crossed her legs.
"I wanted to ask if you saw some sort of future with Paul. Do you see yourself as just friends or more?" The girl asked witch made Luna look at her lap and laugh slightly.
"Who knows what the future holds." Was all that Luna answered.
"One more question." Jimmy said with a laugh.
"H-hi. I'm Mal-Mallory. Sorry, I-I'm a b-big fan." Mallory said as she wiped the tears from underneath her eyes.
Luna looked at Jimmy with a sad look and he nodded his head and she got up which made the fans cheer. She walked off the stage and towards Mallory and hugged her tightly.
"Hi, love. Don't cry, please. It's okay. What was your question?" Luna asked as she pulled away and rubbed her arms.
"Forget my question. I just got to hug Luna Kane. Thank you." Mallory said with a wide smile.
"You're welcome, angel." Luna said as she walked back to her seat on her stage.
"Okay, so how does this thing work? I wanna meet one of them and give them a hug." Luna said with her bottom lip puckered out.
"Okay so everyone has a card under their seats. You'll flip it and if it has a picture of Luna, you get to come meet her." Jimmy explained as Luna nodded. "3...2...1. Go!"
Everyone went under their seats and many groaned while another girl started to scream. The girl jumped and ran on stage while Luna stood up. The girl ran into Luna's arms and she spun her around.
"I love you so much." The fan said.
"I love you so much more, love." Luna said with a smile as the girl pulled away and Luna recognized her. "Hey, you're @Lunasstars on Instagram. I always see you in my Instagram comments and in my tagged pictures. Thank you for the support." Luna said. "Wait, hold on." Luna reached behind the chair and pulled out some roses and handed them to the fan. "Thank you for everything you do. Let's take a pic." Luna pulled out her phone and took a picture. "Amazing. You might see it on my Instagram later. I'll be sure to tag and follow you."
"Oh, my god. Oh, my god. Thank you so much, Luna." The girl cried as she walked back to her seat.
"Unfortunately, that's all the time we have left with Luna. So sad. I'll miss you, Lunes." Jimmy said as he stood up and hugged her.
"I'll miss you too, Jim-Jong." Luna said as she waved and walked off the stage.
