Reya's PoV

I was already at the airport with Diya and Abby waiting for the ever so late Harris, where was this boy, we were about to board in ten minutes and he was nowhere to be seen. We headed towards are gate seeing as we only had five minutes left when we heard Harris calling to and running after his suitcase which was sliding on its own.

Abby started running after the suitcase and caught it.

"Thanks" he called to Abby who was basically holding his suitcase, waiting for him to get it.

"What's wrong with it?" She called.

"Well someone told me it was very high-tech, so I bought it and now it's malfunctioning" he explained.

"You have two minutes to board the plane, Abby please hand him his suitcase back and follow me, we're all on the same flight so Diya come along, hurry up Harris, I'm not waiting for you!" I was becoming my bossy self again, this usually only happened when I was stressed or angry ,or both, and right now I was both. Atleast I wasn't emotional or irrational like I was when I was 13.

He put his hand up in defeat smirking as he stared back at me "Yes ma'am".

I could hear Diya and Abby giggle as he said this, I gave him a small smile and grabbed his jacket pulling him along and dragging him with me.

We showed them our boarding pass and walked right in, I loved flying, people were usually terrified but I loved it I never understood why someone would be scared, I mean it was amazing and glamorous, I always flew Emirates, and to be honest it was quite nostalgic, of when I went to Pakistan.

This was my first time flying business class, I still hadn't let go of Harris, so he kept on bumping into me when I stopped.

"Harris don't run away or do something stupid please".

"You're scolding me like I'm a child!" He laughed.

"Whatever" I said as I greeted the air hostess and went to my little area, Abby sat next to me beside Diya who was sandwiched between Abby and Harris. I was exceptionally cranky today, I mean who wouldn't be, it was six in the morning and I still hadn't had breakfast, unlike Harris who looked ecstatic, near Diya might I add.

Harris threw a pillow towards me which landed on Abby, clearly he was bad at sport, she handed me the pillow which had a note on it, it read:

Ur secret admirer gave me his number

And underneath in his messy handwriting was a number scribbled down on the piece of paper.

"Harris, if this is Armaan then you can tell him to f*ck off, I'm not having any of his bullsh*t excuses, and if it isn't Armaan then tell this so-called 'secret admirer' to be a man and not a cowardly teenager and actually talk to me"I told him from across the plane.

"Damn girl, this ain't Armaan and life's too short why don't you talk to him first" he replied.

"Actually life expectancy in Britain is higher for women than it is for men so why don't you remind him that's he's gonna die first so he should talk to me first" I said in all in one breath and Harris replied to all of that with a confused expression, I sighed inwardly.

"What she means is his life's shorter he should talk first" Abby told him.

"Well he's American and I know how much you wanted to go to America" he replied.

"Harris, I have enough business opportunities to go to America without a douchebag of a boyfriend waiting for me there, now shut up ,I'm trying to nap" I snapped, it was six in the morning and this boy was buzzing with energy, either he'd had too much coffee of lots of energy drinks.

It was a long flight but the food was good, another weird thing about me I liked airplane food, only Emirates though, even though it was said to have lots of sodium in it.

We finally landed, and I could see from the corner of my eye that Harris was trying to make a move on Diy and she was having none of it, that's what a good best friend can teach you. I could also see Abby snoring as she watched Romeo and Juliet, I'd do the same, although this wasn't a very pleasant sight.

When we finally landed and went through all the security and collected our bags which took us atleast an hour and the whole time Harris and Diya were in a deep conversation, I wonder what they were talking about.

Abby on the other hand was buzzing and receiving a lot of attention, honestly I was just too tired to be bothered, and this was until I caught sight of my cousin, yes I randomly saw my cousin whom I despised in the airport, this would only happen to me, ugh.

"Abby chill the hell out! Diya you either go with Harris or let him disappear somewhere and I need to make myself look somehow presentable" I said as I reached for a compact mirror in my ginormous back-pack and pulled out some lip gloss, I looked amazing I was dressed to my best and looked rejuvenated thanks to the amazing nap I had.

"Why?" Asked Harris, I clearly had another two minutes before he noticed me.

"My crazy cousin is here and he's gonna exaggerate everything he sees and make me look like a bad person" I complained.

"You're scared of your cousin?" He laughed.

"Sh*t" he'd seen us.

"Harris go away and take Diya with you to Starbucks or something and I'll find you there"I told him to do this and he was gone before I knew, my awful cousin who was French and way too posh for my liking walked towards me, you might be guessing why we didn't get along, well we were the same age and shared the same birthday and therefore always competing for everything, and it really didn't help that our mothers absolutely adored eachother and wanted the same for us, reasons why we're the same age.

"Cousin dearest" I greeted as I walked up to him and his group of friends, he didn't travel without his pack.

He gave me a hug and one of those kisses on the check where you never really made any contact. So French.

"Hello to you too! I've heard you've been busy"

"Yes I have, and I've heard that you've been in trouble, what gizmo or gadget did you break now?" I asked him as he pouted, I swear he was more girlair than I was, he straightened his white suit before replying to me.

"That dear is none of your business! I'd just wanted to formally invite you to my luxury suite for a high-tea tomorrow, I'll send you the details, farewell!"he said as he turned.

"Good day cousin dearest" I called, mind you neither of us talked like that it was only when we spoke to eachother, I could hear Abby squeal as I turned to her.

"That cute boy next to him gave me his number!" She squealed again.

"Oh, he's my second cousin once removed, highly obnoxious, beware!" I told her as I did jazz hands for no reason. We later attempted to look for Diya and Harris, who were nowhere to be found, I wonder where they went? I asked myself, still thinking about my weird cousin in the back of my head.
