I sighed seeing a bunch of nightmares in front of me. I hit the bottom of my staff it turning into a sword. At the end of the handle of the sword it was a color change wheel...thingy. I don’t know what it is really. I held it up pointing at a nightmare and the wheel spun to the white color. The whole sword was surrounded in a glow, giving light to the darkness surrounding me. When the color changed so did my outfit. A white, flowy dress and ballet flats the same pure white. I charged forward and started to slice through these stupid horses. One by one the turned back into Sandy’s dream dust, after that is just flew away, disappearing. My sword turned back into a staff and I headed off. Back to the North Pole. Hopefully the others are there. If not I’m screwed. I have no clue of any other place they could be. They could be anywhere for crying out loud. By the time I reached the north pole, out of the corner of my eye I saw ice mixed with shadow. Well this can’t be good... MY DANGER SENSES ARE TINGLING! I start to fly over to the source to see Jack and Pitch, yet strangely there is no fighting going on. Wait Pitch has Jack’s staff...Oh hell no. Time for me to step in.

“Guess who’s back, back again, Hollow’s back tell a friend, bitch.” I say charging with my sword out now. Pitch turned with speed and dodged quickly. Jack was stunned in place as I continued to attack and Pitch dodged. Pitch caught me off guard and tripped me, sending me gliding across the icy ground. I quickly turned just in time to see Pitch snap Jack’s staff in half.

“No!” I yelled and Jack doubled over in pain. I scrambled to get to my feet, to Jack. But pitch still got there before me. Jack was kicked to the side, into a ravine, and I ran at Pitch.

“You asshole!” I yelled, blinded by rage. My blindness lead to my incorrect attacks. Which lead to Pitch disarming me. My eyes widened as my sword fell down the ravine, most likely denting as it hit the walls of the ravine. Pitch grabbed me by the collar, hanging me over the ravine. My natural instinct was to hold onto his arm to keep from falling into the gaping hole in the ground. Then a smirk drew on my lips. I quickly let go of his arm and stepped back, falling into the ravine. Pitch let go, definitely not wanting to be down here with me and Jack.  I cringe at the pain of hitting the ground. I slowly roll onto my side, in attempt to relieve as much pain as possible. Jack hurried over to me and pulled me into a hug.

“Where did you go?!” He yelled once he pulled away, holding my shoulders

“I just went somewhere to train...” I said.

“You had me worried.” He said pulling me into another hug. I was just frozen from his contact. Not that he was too cold, honestly his coldness was comforting, but more from the fact he was in such close contact. I don’t know why by my heart seemed to want to jump out of my body, my face seemed all heated up, and my lips yearned to feel his against them. He pulled away and just looked me in the eyes for a bit. And man, did I just wanna melt. Why do I feel like this? I never have before, not even to my ex-boyfriend. What I didn’t notice was Jack leaning in, as I spaced out. The next thing I knew were that his lips were on mine. My eyes widened, but soon fell to a close as I returned the kiss. We were interrupted by a voice calling Jack...and it came from his pocket? We both jumped back and Jack quickly pulled out and case that was gold with little gem resembling shapes on it. It had a picture of Jack but with brown hair and eyes. Is that the teeth that Tooth collects? Are those his? Baby tooth comes out from Jack’s pockets and nods at him. He looks at me and I just shrug. He seems to black out as he touches the top of the case. I stand up and walk over to my sword and pick it. I hold down a scream when Jack comes back.

“Oh my gosh! Did you see that? I-I had a sister! And I saved her!” He had a huge smile on his face. I gave him a small smile.

“That’s why you’re a Guardian, Jack. You saved your sister. I wonder why I’m here still? I didn’t die in a heroic act or anything. I fucking killed myself. I’m a coward...Why am I still here?” I said leaning against the wall, mumbling the last bit to myself.

“You’re no coward, Hollow. You’re brave. You got stronger in a short amount of time. You realise it took me years to get to the level of control I have now. You are amazing....and....I love you.” Those words hit me like knives. Last time I was told that was by my ex, and look at that result. My parents said it too me when I was little then hated me once I became old enough to understand things. I smiled at him and attacked him and a hug, kissing him again. He smiled in the kiss, then pulled away.

“So how are we gonna get out of here? My staff’s broken so I can’t fly.” Jack said letting go of me grabbing the two pieces of staff.

“You could to force it back together? That’s a stupid idea, but hey worth trying. If it doesn’t work I can pretty much break this whole wall down so we can climb it.” I said raising my sword to eye height, using the edge of the blade as a scope, lining it up to the center of the wall of the ravine. Jack tried and his staff started to glow, soon enough the staff became whole again. I smirked and chuckled a bit.

“Hey it worked. Can I still blow the wall down?” I asked turning my head towards him.

“Sure?” He said questionably. My smirk grew wider and I aligned the blade again. The color wheel changed from the normal black to a earthy color. My outfit changed to match it. A green shirt the was slightly torn up and brown shorts. I charged forward and the sword pierced through the ice as if it was nothing but air. No cracks either, just the whole were my sword had made. I pulled out the sword and instantly the gigantic wall fell. I jumped back as the sword switched back to black.

“Ummm...what?” Jack said dumbfounded.

“Yeah that is what I have been doing for the past weeks.” I said. I hit the tip of the sword on the wall behind me and it went back into it’s staff form. “Let’s go save the world.”
