The next day on my bus Mackenzie decides to sit next to me. "There is no way I can get rid of you is there?" I scoffed. "Nope, so don't even try. I saw this photo online of a girl she looks kind of like you, except for the hair, eyes and name, but your faces look like the same person." she said, who could it be? I never posted any pictures of myself online. "What's the girl's name?" I questioned. "It says her name is Hailey, you know her?" she said. It, it's me, but how? My past is back. Why can't I escape it? "No. I don't know her." I replied. "Wow, this girl seems awful. It says she went to her best friend's party, then did it with her best friend's boyfriend. Then it says she threatened her ex best friend then punched her. This girl sounds awful. Woah, she also got suspended." Yeah I got suspended, but everything else is complete bull. Why, why does my past have to follow me.
I went on with the school day very upset. When I got home I was alone, again. I got a text, it's from an unknown number, it says, "Hey, how's your fresh start? You know you can't escape me right? You are already online. You deserve this for trying to steal my boyfriend." I knew exactly who it was, but I dare not speak her name. "Look, he kissed me, nothing more happened. I never tried to take him away from you. I don't like him like that. I can't believe you believe the lies he is telling you. Please just leave me alone." I replied. "No, he is not lying. You are the only liar. I am not going to leave you alone." she responded. I can't believe my past is back. I fell to the floor and I started crying. I can't deal with this, no matter where I go my past will follow me.
My life is over, lets just hope no one makes the connection between who I am now and my past. I don't need this in my life. I am innocent. Why can't she just drop it and leave me alone.
