Chapter Nine💫
Cash's whole facial expression had changed, "Vincent ? He was just up here...Fuck he doing business with them for ?""Nah it's more than just business with them... they like family. Heard they gave Vincent all his connections in New York." Benji said while folding his arms.
Cash was silent as he rubbing his chin, trying his hardest to comprehend. "I know Vincent ain't on no switching side shit....That nigga like a brother to me."
Benji shrugged his shoulders. Of course the three of them had grew up together but people change over time. Benji always stayed the same with Cash. He wouldn't dare fold on him even when the money was gone, he would still be by his friend side. But Vincent was now on some independent type shit.
"Shit...That nigga acting grimy now. Real shit. Remember at one point he was acting like he wanted no dealings with us." Benji reminded him.
Cash sighed heavily, "Man..." he said lowly while walking off into his living room. Benji followed behind him.
"I was talking to him bout business." Cash said, taking a seat in his recliner chair. He shook his head in disbelief.
"It's crazy... they getting the closest people to you, to turn on you.... Demetrius your own blood brother, now Vincent..." Benji said, placing his hands in his pockets.
"Damn, that nigga was just in my face, all smiles like he ain't have some funny shit going on." Cash mumbled while playing with his gold chain around his neck.
"I'll pay his ass a visit and as for Demetrius.... you need to talk to him."
Cash contemplated on speaking to his brother. It was just to soon. To be honest, he was second guessing about letting Demetrius live. He knew too much and he didn't want him going back to tell what happened.
"I'll think about it." He finally said. "How's Brian holding up ?"
Benji smiled a little, "he woke up from his coma. He not talking but shit, that's enough for me."
"That's what's up." He nodded. Sometimes he wished he had the same bond Benji had with Brian, with his own brother. But that was how life played out.
"I'll hit you up later. I'll let you know what info I get." Benji said as they slap hands and gave each other a side hug and pat on the back.
"Aight man, be safe and watch your back at all times." He told Benji as he walked him to the door.
"I will."

Cash was working from his house for a few days until he got some info on Vincent and his "crew ".
"I'm ready to hit up Richie, see if he still have that offer on board." Cash spoke over the phone with Benji as he sat in his office.
He tapped his pin on his desk while listening to Benji talk. "Aight man, let me know if you need backup."
"Bet." He said before hanging up. He placed his phone on the desk and sighed heavily. He ran his hand through his waves and thought.
Suddenly, his wife walked inside his office with Cassi in her arms. Janae wore a black turtleneck fitted-dress with denim thigh-high boots. Her face was beat and she had a fresh weave. She made her way over to him with the baby.
