Chapter 9

I had heard what he said but my mind just couldn't process the idea. "Felicity come on, move!" I heard someone yell. I wanted to, I really did but I was frozen, I was just standing there as the screams got louder, soon I saw them, there were hundreds of them! Where did they all come from? Me & the girls didn't have a problem with the fans & from what I could tell the boys didn't have that much trouble today either. How could Matt walking away for what I'm guessing was a few minutes get all that attention? Next thing I knew a hand wrapped around my arm & started pulling soon enough I was running too, with the girls right behind us. I couldn't see the group so I had no idea where to go, but whoever I was with was making a beeline straight for Belk's which had an exit to leave, so I followed with no protest. I didn't have a problem with fans, honestly I didn't I'd had my own share of obsessions when I was younger, so I knew what it was like to want to meet the person you looked up to so much. But seriously this was crazy! I mean can't we have a normal day?!? We opened the doors & I sighed in relief when I saw the cars out front & the girls telling us to hurry. We jumped in the car & sped off leaving the girls behind. I sat there for a minute catching my breath before finally turning to see who saved me, it was Aaron. We didn't talk much so to say I was surprised to see it was him, was an understatement. "You guys okay back there?" Jennifer asked. "Yeah, I think we're good." Aaron responded. I lazily leaned my head against his shoulder, "Thank you so much," I said. "If it weren't for you I would have been trampled to to death back there." I said shaking my head laughing. "It was no problem, really!" he said with a smile.

I was exhausted when we got back to the hotel, all I wanted to do was lay down & take a nap. But it'd been almost 3 days since we left & I hadn't talked to the girls back home once since we left, so I decided I needed to do that instead. As soon as I pulled out my phone to call Breanna there was a knock at the door, Jen was going through her suitcase trying to find something so I had to get the door. I opened it to find all the guys, Mahogany, & Veronica standing in their bathing suits. "Um, hey?" I said. "Go get ready we want to go to the pool!!" Nash said. It's been forever since we had hung out to go swimming so I was really surprised when he popped up to the front shirtless exposing his sixpack. "Aw my little Nashy's been working out!!" I'd meant for the comment to stay in my head but form the fits of laughter from the guys I knew I'd said it out loud. All he did was blush. "As much as I would love to, I can't right now, I'm about to call the girls. But I'll come down later. Püma?" I asked. Püma was kinda our Okay? Okay. Thing. "Püma." They all said. "Hey Jen, go put on your swim suit the guys want you to go swimming with them!" I told her. But she already had hers on. "Yeah I know we made the plans on the way over. Aren't you coming?" she asked. "Later, I'm gonna call the girls right now." I told her. "Oh, ok. Tell them I said hey!" She said before the door shut signaling that she had left. Again I picked up my phone & scrolled through my contacts, tapping breanna's number I put the phone to my ear & waited for her to pick up.

"Hey girl long time, no hear!"

"Yeah, I know, I'm sorry things have been crazy around here lately."

"Don't worry about it it's fine!"

"So how are things back home?"

"Well..."

"What is it? did something happen?"

"Well sorta. Houston stopped by."

"WHAT! WHEN? WHY? WHAT DID HE WANT?"

( ugh sorry I know! What is it with me & cliff hangers??

Who is Houston? Comment below who you think he is! Why do you think Felicity is so jumpy about him?

The whole Okay? Okay. Thing is a reference to The Fault Im Our Stars by John Green, it's a great book if you haven't you should go read it!

Just to clear this up, in this book Hayes is 16, yes I know he's actually 13 but I needed him to be older to fit into the story & not make Jen look like a pedo.

Anyway the spaced out part is the convo over the phone between Felicity & Breanna!
