The next morning very early Don layed in bed thinking about an endless pool of ways to help his ex and their daughter but mostly help his ex. Or was he thinking about that?

Of course not.

But yes he was thinking about Baby, his Baby.

That's when he came up on a brilliant idea. He sit up straight in horror with a big smile.

"Baby, I have an idea." He said and rush out of his bedroom door into the kitchen seeing Baby standing at the kitchen window staring at the outside world. He look at the table and see breakfast and coffee. "Baby, I have an idea."

She turn around and look at him and he could see she's a little unhappy.

"What's wrong?" He asked as she show him to sit down at where the breakfast was. He does as she take a seat infront of him.

"I tried a few phone calls but nothing's helping." She said folding her arms.

"That's what I want to talk about. You don't have to sell any of the animals or anything on this farm. I'm gonna sell my house instead." He said as she jump up from her chair looking shocked.

"Don, you can't do that!" She was about to freak out as he also stood up.

"Listen Baby, I have a house worth more than five grand I can..." he immediately stopped himself as she gave him an add look before rolling her eyes.

"You talked to Sherley about this didn't you?" She asked.

"It slipped out." He replied. She gave a sighed and took her seat again placing her head in her hands.

"Don, I was actually talking about my horse, Precious. A snake bit her this morning now she's suffering a swallon leg." She manage to say. He take his seat again looking sorry for her.

"Baby, I'm so sorry." He said like he really meant it.

"Don, you can't help me. If Sarah finds out..." Baby started trying to explain but like always, he has something to say.

"Baby, this isn't about Sarah okay. This is about you, the future of this place and our daughter's." He assured her calmly as she look at him with tears in her eyes knowing she has no say in this. "Let me help you for the sake of our child's life."

"I can't believe I'm saying this but okay. Do your thing. Sarah won't like this so don't say I didn't warn you." Baby said and stood up. "Now eat your breakfast before I give it to the pigs."

Later that day Don was on the phone talking with Sarah while sitting in the barn watching Precious laying there. Baby walk to the door stopping when she heard him on the phone to hear what he says.

"Sarah, we need to talk." He started. "No of course not. But yes I can't... Sarah let me finish...Sarah shut up for court's sake and let me talk. I want to sell the house."

Without Baby noticing a snake sails under the sack that laid at her feet.

"Oh my gosh this isn't gonna work." He said away from the phone putting it to his ear again. "Sarah, I slept with Baby... no we didn't do it on purpose. Okay I want you out of there before the end of the week. Because I'm selling it... I don't need you Sarah and neither that stupid house! Just hang up the phone already! Yeah go stay with your mother if you have to for all I care! That's not my problem. Bye"

She look at him that hang up the phone as Baby rest her head against the wooden door when he came out.

"So you told her we slept together?" She asked making him look at her.

"Baby? I didn't know you were listening..." he started trying to explain.

"I wasn't listening to what you said I was hearing." Baby said a little shy. "There's a difference."

"Okay well, I always wanted to say that to Sarah. Now I did. I'm a free man." He said happily scanning her from head to toe seeing the sack move.

"I'm proud of that but what if she calls to the house phone? Sherley is gonna answer it and without thinking twice that crazy women you dumbed will talk thinking it's me." Baby said raising an eyebrow.

"Baby, don't move." He said seriously scared out of his mind.

"Why? What's wrong?" She asked in horror trying not to move.

"Look at your feet." He commanded as she does seeing the sack moving.

"Oh my gosh." She gasp trying not to freak out when the thing came upon her shoe. "Help me."

"Just don't move." He repeated. They both heared a scream coming from the house. Baby role her eyes with a sighed knowing that there's gonna be a bomb explosion in three...two...one... Sherley came walking madly out of the house towards them.

"You two slept together? One night and I can't even trust you?" Sherley screamed arriving at them as Don show her to keep quiet. She does what she's told as she role her eyes looking at her mother's foot almost screaming at the top of her lungs seeing the snake. Don place his hand on her mouth till she calmed down. He took it away again as she stood there shocked. "Two snakes at the same time?"

"Sherley don't say that. Me and your mom didn't really sleep together. I mean we did but that was years ago when we wanted you." Don tried to explain as Baby role her eyes and Sherley about to freak out.

"Okay ewww I was actually talking about this snake and the one who bit Precious." Sherley corrected as Don realised what she's talking about.

"Wait a minute, isn't this Hurley?" Baby asked trying to take a good look at the snake seeing a mark on his back as a smile spread across her lips. "Yes it is."

"Oh my gosh." Sherley gasped going near as she pick it up.

"What?" Don looked confused.

"This is mom's snake." Sherley replied giving it over to Baby. "Mom use to play a lot with it."

Don gave a weird facial expression drawing Baby's full attention.

"Not in a weird way Don." Baby said looking back at the snake that was still so friendly. "So, shall we get you back where you belong or do you want to keep exploring the wild?"

That moment Don gave an add look knowing that at this moment he is like the snake. Exploring the wild while he's suppose to be home with his family.

"Now, just so that you should know me and your mom didn't really sleep together. I told Sarah that for a reason." Don said to Sherley that looked at him after he said that.

"To be honnest to you dad, I don't care whether you and mom slept together just don't freaken break her heart for love's sake. She's broken enough." Sherley said angrily and walked away. Don look at Baby wondering if she may still feel the same way he feels about her.

"Kids these days." Baby let out with a giggle and walk past him trying to hide her tears.
