The blue sky became dark, a pale moonlight shimmer above me that I looked up with my naked eyes. The sounds of howling dogs and screeching cats went along around me. All I did was sitting down very still, not realising that I was shivering in that cold night.

I couldn't sleep a wink; not because of those loud noises but my mind was full of thoughts. I was thinking whether my actions were right on track or not at all. I never felt so puzzled about making decisions... was I regretting it or something?

As time passed, I looked around and I was surprised by a number of wild dogs lying down very still all around that area. I was very terrified but I tried hard to not show it as dogs could smell fear.

I slowly tried to stand up without even making a sound but i kept hesitating. After a while, I successfully stood up without waking up those sleeping bunch of dogs. I, then with full of aware, tiptoed passed them.

I continued walking down the streets and stopped on a bridge, I was captured by the scene of the beautiful river and the night sky filled with stars. I sighed and kept looking and enjoying the scenery.

Me: "Oh, this cruel world also have beautiful things in it... How I wish my cruel life will end beautifully.."

Then, I heard a small noise and it felt that it came from my stomach. Well, that explained well what situation I was in... I kept holding my tummy as it was empty.

I knew all I had to do was just to hold it in. The weird thing was that time, I also felt nauseous, but in an empty stomach, really? My head started feeling dizzy and I didn't have that much strength till' I unexpectedly found myself lying on the ground.

I woke up when I felt something wet slightly touched my face and it was very ticklish that made me giggle. I opened my eyes and found a cute and fluffy dog that was licking my face. I stroked his fur and greeted him.

Me: "Hello there, you are such a cutie~"

I lent my hand and it placed his paw on mine. He surprisingly shook my hand and straight away, I knew he was a trained dog. I found out that he was wearing a collar and I searched for his name but not even a single letter was written on it.

Me: "I guess you lost your nametag.. How can I bring you back home to your owner then?"

He then bit my ragged trousers and kept on gently pulling it as if he wanted to go somewhere. He then ran to the streets leaving me behind. I guess I was wrong that he wanted me to go with him.

I watched him as he went off in great speed. I sighed and smiled when he turned back and whimpered.

Me: "*shouts* Do you want me to follow you?"

The dog then barked and nodded. At the same time, we looked at each others' eyes and I could see his cute, little puppy eyes including his ears that he flopped it down as if he was begging me to.

Of course I couldn't resist this adorable, poor creature.. so I rushed to him as quickly as possible. I bended my legs and gave him a big hug.

Me: "From now on, you are my sidekick!"

The dog howled and barked excitedly. He also pounced on me till' I fell straight onto the ground.

He was such a lovely partner or should I say a good friend that could make me feel less lonely and I would always be happy even when I had the hardest situations.

This dog kept licking my face with his slimey saliva but I don't mind at all since I laughed and really enjoyed it! My sidekick and I hurriedly went to the terrifying alleyway I went last night. I couldn't stop smiling in disbelief that the whole bunch of wild dogs were completely gone.

My new friend rushed to a pole and found a strong-looking rope tied to it, it started pulling it as if he was trying to take it off. So, I helped him by undoing it and gave it to him. He then lowered his head under the rope I held in front him. I dropped my knees on the solid ground and asked him what he really wanted.

Me: "Hmm... *pats you* Does my sidekick want to play tug-of-war?"

I ruffled his soft dog fur that I could not even stop myself from not to but I just couldn't! He was soo fluffy and extremely adorable~~~ He kept on shaking his head as if he was saying 'no' to every single question I asked.

Me: "Okay.. I don't really know what you really want to do with this rope.. *sighs* Could we just take a nice walk so I can have time to think of any game?"

He began to jump up and down excitedly and licked my face. Did that mean in the first place he wanted to take a walk? How I wish I could keep him forever with me.. but if I take him in, his owner might be worried and would start to search for him... However, he is such a wonderful friend that came to me!
