Gran rojo POV

"Two babies..." i smile airily

"Wake up! It ain't real!" I hear someone yell.

Chato?

I snap out of my daydream

Oh. It isn't real.

"Harley! Wake up!" I shake her "you don't want that!"

"I want that!"

"I killed the bat...." Deadshot says

"Nah you don't want that! She's tryna play games with you, man!" He yells and floyd wakes.

"He's right. It ain't real." Flagg sighs cleary upset

"How long have you been able to see?" The witch asks chato.

Chato, who had came out from behind the pillars followed by us, walks forward and answers "my whole life! You can't have them. These are my people right here!"

"But it is our time! The sun is setting, the magic arises. The meta-humans are a sign of change."

"Lady! You are evil!" Floyd states

"#$##*&&^/$$/^&" she calls
(Brother! Make them bow to me)

A giant monster appears from behind the pillars scaring us all

"Who's this?!" Digger cowers

"We should run!" Someone yells

Two tenticles shoot out and hit us all back into pillars.

"DQ command. We're in position." Flagg talks into his radio

Boomerang throws his boomerang at the giant but it swats it away like its a bee.

"We gotta get him in that corner! Thats where the bomb is!" Flagg orders

"I'll get him there!" Chato yells as katana cuts the beasts hand off -only for it to grow back-

"Chato no!" I yell trying to stop him "you know it don't last long!"

"I lost one family, i ain't gonna lose another! Let me show you what I really am." He says adressing the team

"Alright. Chato be careful." I beg

Chato charges at the monster with flames spouting from his hands. He pushes the monster a bit until the giant throws him back into a room.

I assume chato's unconscious and go to make certain he's not dead but when I try to go into the room i am blocked by a huge fire beast. Chato must have got pretty angry.

He runs at the witches brother and attacks him. Chato punches and punches until he's in the corner. I see the energy drain from chato and his flames disperse. He tries desperately to push the monster off him but doesn't succeed. I shoot my blue flames at the beast but they have no effect.

"Chato get out of there!" I cry

"Blow it!"

Flagg looks at him, then me and then to his radio

"No! Flagg! P-please...." i yell

"Blow it." He gives me an apologetic look.

The bomb explodes killing the monster and my husband with it.

"NO! CHATO! MI AMOR!" I scream and run to the explosion sight.

The sight is truly horrendous. Chato is lying on the ground -of course looking fine as the flames have no effect on him- as though he is asleep. His eyes are shut and his muscles relaxed. I kneel beside chato's body and lean over it. I stare at the face of the thing i love most in this world and cry. I cry and scream. I don't even listen to people trying to comfort me or get me to fight. I just cry. I hug his body to my chest and i see my limbs become red. I am turning into my fire spirit. It happens when I feel strong emotions.

I have been sitting here for ages. The witch is dead and i thought that chato and I would be celebrating. I should be happy but i can't be when i have no husband anymore.

"Come on, Dolorita. We have to go." Boomerang coaxes

I sigh and get up, trying not to collapse. Digger puts his arm around my waist leading me away from chato.

"Wait....i saw him flinch." Says harley

"Harley please. Don't do that.." i sob still thinking he is dead.

"I did!" She protests.

I turn around and look at my husband one last time. Suddenly an unexpected event occurs. Chato talks.

"Bebé..." he says barely audible.

"Mi amor!" I smile so widely and run back to him.

"Excuse me!" A paramedic pushes past the crowd.

Waller must have sent them.

"I-is he ok?" I asks

"He's alive. The heat from your body kept him alive. He just needs rest."

"Oh thank goodness!" I hug him tightly.

"Bebé....ow, can't.....breath." he wheezes and i emediently let go

"Sorry! Sorry!"

He chuckles lightly and tries to get up.

"Careful Mr.Santana." A paramedic says

I can't help it. I burst out laughing. Everybody looks at me weirdly but....its still funny.

"Whats so funny rita?" Harley asks

"Please don't call him Mr.Santana again." I say to the nurse "it makes him sound very old."

This makes everyone else laugh at me.

"Bebé...only you would say that" chato laughs

"Does anyone have any other requests?" Amanda asks

"Oh! An expresso machine!" Harley chirps in

"A larger cell so chato and i can share." I smile

"We get to see elly?" Chato asks

"Alright. Get them out of here."
