"But I want to visit him now."
Harry grumbled quietly and frowned as the doctors said five more minutes.
He nodded and solemnly walked over to a waiting chair, sighing quietly.
"Lou.." Harry murmured sadly as he remembered the boy's body, a frown coming upon his face. "Was this my fault..?" Harry kept questioning himself with a frustrated sigh, fingers tangling into his hair.
Of course it wasn't my fault.
This happened on Louis' behalf.
Harry thought to himself quietly, lips moving, forming words that were never heard.
He sighed and rubbed his face repeatedly, over and over again until he felt his body loosen up, bottom lip being sucked into his mouth.
"Someone named.. Harry Styles may see their desired patient." a feminine, quiet voice flowed out in the waiting room, Harry's body jolting upward quickly.
"Thank you, lovey." he murmured softly while maneuvering around the short nurse, jogging into Louis' room.
When Harry came upon, he observed the sleeping Louis with a cold cup of water, the condensation on the plastic cup showing that Louis hadn't touched the cup yet since there was no fingerprints or any sort of natural oily little prints on the cup.
The room was a comfortable silence when Harry lightly closed the door, scooting a chair to the side of Louis' bed silently, small little scratching noises heard on the floor when Harry scooted a bit closer.
Louis' heartbeat was just a little bit slower than the last time Louis was visited by Harry, but that was because Louis was still a bit shaken up by the loud, almost physical fight that day, Harry noted to himself.
Harry grabbed his ex's hand and yawned, whispering.
"Lou."
"Mm.." Louis murmured weakly as he intertwined his fingers with Harry's lazily.
"Wake up, babe.." Harry murmured tiredly, biting his lip as Louis' head tilted to face him, eyelids struggling to open.
"Too bright.." Louis coughed dryly, bringing his other hand to cover his mouth. "D'you want me to turn off the lights?" Harry asked softly while tilting his head, an unreadable expression on his face.
The small boy shook his head with an innocent murmur, "Don't want the doctors to be angry and ask why you turned the lights off."
Harry chuckled quietly and nodded while pressing a gentle kiss to Louis' cheek, nodding.
"How about you drink some water, Lou?" he offered, reaching over to grab the untouched cup beside Louis. Louis shook his head with a tired smile, yawning.
Harry frowned.
"Why not? You've not touched the cup yet."
"I don't drink water anymore, Harry. It tastes disgustingly bitter."
"Well," Harry smiled lightly, "It is water, Louis."
"Yeah, yeah," Louis smiled, tilting his head back to it's original place, staring up at the ceiling. "Just not fond of it." he whispered, his hand tightening into a fist when Harry pressed a gentle kiss to his hand.
Harry nodded quietly and crossed his ankles together, just like how Louis used to do it.
"Then what do you want to do?"
"Can we sleep, Harry? I'm tired." Louis questioned, Harry almost didn't hear.
Harry nodded quietly and pressed another light kiss to Louis' cheek, tapping his nose.
"Alright, let's sleep, Louis."
And so they fell asleep in a comfortable silence, small smiles on each other's face.
