Present Day
Alpha sat impatiently in the café waiting for Tyler. She fiddled with her phone when it rang. It was him. "Hello, Tyler. Where are you?"
"I am right behind you." He said. And he was she ran up to him and hugged him really tightly as if she had not seen him in a year when in reality it was just 5 months.
"How was the flight?" She said to him as the both sat at the table.
"It was great but again my ears went numb. You tell me, how are your studies going?"
"They are going off very well. What was your result?"
"As you know always at the top with Hannah by my side." He said, smirking.
A rush of mixed emotions went through Alpha. She felt fear, anger and most of all jealousy but she kept saying to herself calm down everything's going to be okay. To distract herself she called the waiter. "Two coffee, please" she said. "How is she?"
"Just the same as she was. And how is Robert?"
"He has been quite happy lately." He raises a brow. "For his tricks of course, I mean out of thin air he makes things."
"That's really fascinating. I would like to see him do magic tricks."
"I've got something for you." She handed him a box as the size of my palm,"Happy Birthday," she said smiling.
"Today is my birthday?" She nodded, "wow you really remember my birthday when I can't. Thanks."
"Welcome."
"Are you coming to tomorrow' homecoming party, tonight?"
"Obviously, I would love to come."
"Also bring your father."
"Kay."
