Tiana Williams.

I sat at the wooden, dusted desk as I chewed on my blue ink pen.

My vibrant pink nails began to tap against the desk lowly, as I waited for my music teacher to arrive into the classroom.

Today we would be going over this script for a spring play that we, as a class put together for the school.

I was pretty excited simply because I was given a part that had to do with a lot of singing of course.

Snatching me out of my thoughts, I was soon interrupted by my friend Amber.

Me and Amber wasn't the best of friends, but she was cool to talk to, and she was a real sweetheart.

She was good company.

"Hey girl." She spoke as she sat next to me in an empty desk.

I gave her a small smile as I spoke.

"Hey, Where have you been in the last week?"

She laughed slightly at my remark.

I don't know why though, I hadn't found any humor in what I just said.

"I went down to Florida, to visit my grandma and uncles. My bad, I know how you hate being left as the only black girl in here."

I looked at her, and we both started laughing.

"You damn right. I don't have a problem with it, it just feels awkward. But you're back now, so it's all good." I giggled.

Amber smiled as we began to chat it up a little more, soon interrupted by our teacher.

"Hello class, settle down. We have a lot that we need to get done today."

She spoke, her thick British accent being noticed.

"We have choir rehearsals during class, lunch, and after school session. Dance teachings at the studio down the street, and also we need a few volunteers to help set up for the next two weeks."

She spoke, lifting her head up scanning the classroom.

Thats when Amber raised her hand.

"I'll be more than happy to help Ms. Ferrel. I need something to occupy myself with anyways."

"Well that's a good idea amber, but you'll need somebody to help you, you can't do it all by --"

I then cut Ms. Ferrell off.

"I'll help her."

I nearly yelled.

Amber then got a smirk at me, as we high fives each other.

This was gonna be fun, and we both knew it.

Justys Mills.

I sat in 2nd period, doodling down random things into my math workbook, as the teacher sat on the desk, examining the overly loud class.

Really, no one was paying attention, Everyone was waiting for him to start the Class.

"Alright, simmer down everyone."

He said as he got up from his seat, soon writing today's objective on the board.

Thats when everyone seemed to groan, as if learning was the worst thing in the world.

"really kids? We do this everyday, y'all should know the routine by now."

Our teacher, Mr Thomas spoke.

"Yeah, but who says we wanna get used to the routine?"

Some random boy on the other side of the room spoke.

Everyone started laughing.

I chuckled to myself as I glanced over to his direction.

Taking in his looks.

"Well, Since you wanna be a smart ass, you don't have to be here. There's always a door you can walk out of" He said, staring the boy down.

The classroom was now filled with ooo's and ahh's.

The boy then turned to his friend as he laughed.

"And nigga it's always a shower that you can walk into."

The boy fired back.

I snickered to myself as the class started boasting. His comeback was weak as hell.

"Alright, that's it. Hit the principles office."

Mr Thomas spoke as he wrote the boy a note.

The boy shrugged as if he didn't care.

He stood from his seat, as he walked over and snatched the paper from Mr Thomas hand.

He turned to tell his friend something, and that's when he took a quick glance at me then looked the other way.

I had to admit, he had some pretty greenish eyes.

It fit his light completion.

Shaking off the thought, He soon left the classroom, without a word.

"Alright, now that we got that out the way, let's get down to real buisness. Now take out apiece   of paper and turn to page 162 in your workbook."

I mentally groaned as I slid both of the two out of my backpack.

Kayla Jones

"Kayla, cheer up. It'll all get better soon."

My mom said as she sat a cup of hot Chocolate on my nightstand.

I sighed to myself as I shook my head.

"mom, you've been saying that since this all began. When is this gonna stop?"

I said putting my head in my hands.

She then caressed me into a small hug.

"Whenever you allow it to. Kayla you only get picked on because you let them.  You don't say not a damn word to them when they insult you. You let it happen. Put you're foot down. It has to stop."

I took in her words, as I thought slightly.

Im too kind, as you would say to ever speak up, or insult someone back. That's stooping down to someone's level.

"One of these days Kayla, one of these days."

My mom spoke once again, kissing my forehead and leaving my room.

I I took all of her words, and I swiftly brought out my notebook and pen.

And began to write my sorrows away..
