Willow's POV:

"You and Ariella-" Lucy said as she wrinkled her forehead.

"Yes." I finished

She nodded as she looked around.

"And you like Brandon?"

"Well I don't know..." I said as I looked at the ground.

She nodded and then picked at her nail polish.

I knew what she was gonna ask, she kept repeating the question over and over again to herself.

I reached out for her hand.

"And...you have the Spirit Power too?" She asked slowly.

I took a deep breath and nodded.

Tears brimmed her eyelids.

"They're gonna take you away, that's why you were there. Oh god that's why you were there."

I nodded and then a question came to my mind.

"Lucy?," I asked as we stood.

"Ya?" She said as we headed toward the stairs.

"Who told you I was gonna be there, how did you know to come help me escape?"

She gasped and her eyes avoided mine.

I already heard the answer, she practically screamed it.

"Linda." I whispered as I remembered that I haven't seen her since yesterday.

"Wait why?" I asked as Lucy headed down the stairs.

I caught up to her and she slowed down.

"She wanted to protect you. She took you to him, so we could take you and he could trust her."

I shook my head as we walked into the kitchen.

"No, we have to go get her. Why am I here? Just to wait? Wait for what?"

I practically screamed at her.

"I don't know!" She screamed back as Brandon walked in.

He looked alarmed and then he relaxed when he saw Lucy sit down.

He walked over to her and whispered something.

I searched his thoughts, but he was hiding something. I reached for it but it kept slipping from my hands.

Damn he's good.

I shielded myself and walked closer to him.

He led Lucy out of the kitchen while I tried to grip her thoughts.

"Will you just stop?" He asked when he saw my frustration.

"What am I doing here?!" I asked as I motioned around.

"Your here for your safety." He said while he pushed against my shield.

I knew what he was trying to do. He was trying to get into my mind and put me to sleep, or make me forget.

"Good luck with that." I thought to him.

It only made him more angry and I enjoyed it.

Then I saw Lucy peek from the doorway. Her demeanor was stronger, when she was so helpless only a few seconds ago.

She was trying to get my eye contact, she was trying to deceive me but I shielded myself.

I smiled as I saw the surprise in her eyes.
