Is there a problem?

The rest of the day Eliza works and works. Akito brings her snacks and lunch and as he promised, he reads her rough drafts and they spend a good four hours fixing them and re-reading them to fix them again. It's all worth it because at the end of those four hours Eliza has finished all her papers and she's almost finished with her thesis.

After all their work they lay down on the bed and just look up at the ceiling. Mr. Neko curls up on Eliza's stomach and purrs when Akito scratches his ear

"He likes you" Eliza says as the cat nuzzles into Akito's hand

"Thanks, I have this weird thing with cats" Akito smiles "for some reason all the cats I've met have let me pet them. Sometimes they even come looking for me"

"Well cats are drawn to other animals" Eliza jokes

"Ha ha" Akito rolls his eyes "so are you going to finish tomorrow?"

"No" Eliza sighs and puts her hands behind her head "tomorrow I'm resting. I was planning on visiting my sister at school, and my brothers as well, maybe have lunch with them"

"That sounds nice" Akito sighs

"What are you doing tomorrow?" Eliza asks poking his nose

"Work" he sighs "I'm actually going out of town tomorrow"

"Oh" Eliza says a bit sad "when will you be back?"

"Tomorrow, very late at night" Akito says "it's not a long trip"

"Do you want me to wait for you?" Eliza winks at him making him smile

"It's fine" he says softly "you go to sleep" Eliza nods and Akito stands

"Good night Eliza" he bows and leaves without waiting for an answer.

The next day Eliza gets dressed and has Tony make some food so she can take it to Hinode high school.

At mid day Eliza has finished all the things she had to do, boring stuff, mainly listening to Tony drone on and on about family affairs and how the price for cigarettes is incredibly high. Eliza laughs at that part and tells him to stop smoking or else he'll go bankrupt. Tony smacks her upside the head and rolls his eyes at her. Eliza laughs and he takes her to Ema's school

"Want me to pick you up?" Tony asks staring down some kids that are staring at them

"I'm fine" Eliza smiles

"Be safe kiddo" with that Tony takes off. Eliza steps inside school grounds and is glad to see she doesn't stand out too much, after all they're the same age not like in college where she's younger than every other sophomore.

The atmosphere in high school is a lot different as well. Eliza wanders through some of the hallways trying to find Ema and Yusuke's classroom. She's about to ask for help when she spots Ema's pony tail. Eliza smiles and approaches but when she gets closer she sees three other girls surrounding her.

One of them pushes Ema against the wall behind her and the others sneer at her. Eliza can't hear what they're saying but as she gets closer she realices they're big fans of Futo. Eliza rolls her eyes and steps closer

"Is there a problem?" Eliza asks, the three girls turn to look at her at the same time

"It's none of your business" the middle girl sneers

"Scram" the girl to her left laughs

"That's my sister you have pushed against the wall" Eliza steps even closer and manages to get between Ema and the girls. "So if you have a problem with her you have one with me" she gently shoves the middle girl back who huffs in anger. The other two girls step back smiling think the girl can take on Eliza. She tries to slap Eliza who grabs her hand and shoves her away one more time

"Is there a problem?" Futo asks from the hallway Eliza smiles at the girls and breaks down in tears

"Futo!" Eliza sniffs and throws herself at him "these girls were being so mean to us" she cries in a very dramatic way on his shoulder

"Is that true girls?" Futo asks the three girls who look both horrified and furious

"Whatever" the middle girl huffs, they turn and walk away. When they've turned the corner Eliza bursts out laughing

"What was that about?" Futo asks laughing

"I'm not really sure" Eliza laughs and grabs Ema rubbing her arm in comfort, she's trembling.

"They're jealous because Futo spends too much time with me" Ema says softly

"That's stupid" Eliza scoffs

"Exactly, I'm your brother why wouldn't we spend time together?" Futo rolls his eyes and pats her head "don't worry about it Ema" she smiles and nods

"Alright so who's hungry?" Eliza smiles holding up her bento Ema laughs and Futo smiles "where Yusuke?"

"Oh he's in the classroom" Ema says "we can eat there if you want"

"Sure" Eliza smiles "you're classmates won't mind?" She asks as they walk to her classroom

"No" Ema shakes her head "Futo might cause some commotion but I'm sure he's used to it"

"Yeah it's fine" Futo sighs and laughs. They go into the classroom and Yusuke looks deep in thought so Eliza sneaks up behind him and covers his eyes

"Who am I?" She asks in a deep voice Yusuke jumps and grabs her hands

"Eliza your gonna give me a heart attack" he grumbles making her laugh

"Come one lets eat" she laughs.
