It was the day after Sophie and Georgia came up to my place and now I was getting ready to go for dress shopping with the two of them and their mother's.
Overall yesterday wasn't all that bad.Yes Brody did make me cry and made me sad but after he went I had a good time with the girls.
Sophie is a very sweet girl and I can see us being good friends in future.I don't know why but I have a feeling that she doesn't hate me.She likes me for who I am and I can talk to her about anything without being scared.
I just hope that all of this comes true.I really do want someone to be there for me.To talk to me instead of my bear.Someone I can trust and someone who can keep my secrets to themselves instead of spreading them around.
My phone rings breaking my train of thoughts.I glance at the caller ID and accept the call,putting it on speaker.
"Hey Sophie"I say applying mascara on my left eyelash.
"Hey Ciara!"She squeals excitedly."Are you ready?"
"Um yeah.I just need two more minutes"."Well that's great because we will reach your place in five.I will give you a missed call when we reach.I am so excited for the dress shopping Ci!"She laughs and I raise my eyebrow even though I know that she can't see me."Ok.See you"I say ending the call,not bothering to wait for her reply.
As I walk up to my closet to pick up my scarf,my phone rings making me glance at the caller ID.
I quickly pick up my phone and clutch before walking out of my place.
I walk up to Sophie's car and open the back door before sliding inside.I greet Sophie and her mother who are sitting in the front and Georgia and Cassandra in the back,next to me.
"Are you excited for the dress shopping?"Mrs.Edwards asks and I nod even though she can't see me."Yes I am"I lie.
"That's great love!I can't believe that my son is getting married"She squeals and claps her hands making all of us laugh.
"Looks like mum's the most excited about the wedding"Sophie laughs glancing at me from the rare view mirror.
"Of course I am.I am going to get such a wonderful daughter in law and soon I will have my grandchildren running around the house"Mrs.Edwards grins and my eyes widen.I don't think that she will ever get grandchildren from me.Not when her son hates me so much.
I wish that I could tell this to her but I know that I couldn't because Mrs.Rosewood wouldn't approve of it.So instead I kept quiet and looked out the window even though my heart was breaking.
As the car comes to the halt I hear Sophie and Georgia squeal."We are here!"I smile slightly and open the car door before getting out.
I walk inside the shop and look around at the thousands of different wedding dresses in awe.They are all so beautiful!
After being introduced to the shop owner,Stacy,who is apparently Mrs.Rosewood's good friend,they hand me a bunch of dresses and push me into the changing room.Well at least let me look around and choose a wedding dress for myself!
After trying dresses for three long hours I finally walk out of the changing room with a defeated look on my face."Now don't be sad Ciara!"Sophie smiles pulling me into a hug."But I didn't find any dress"I pout.
"Don't worry love,we have plenty more shops waiting for us.You will surely find a dress."She says and I nod.As we make our way out of the shop,I stop.Wow that rhymes.
I walk up to the mannequin that is situated in the middle of the shop and run my hand down the beautiful dress.It is a very simple dress but I fell in love with it.Maybe it's because I have always gotten simple things but that's just the way I like my things.
Simple.
It's a strapless lace dress that is way too long from the back but that's alright because that's just the way I wanted it to be.It's a little deep from the back with a zip attached to it.

"This dress is so beautiful"I smile,dreamily."Ciara choose another dress.You are getting married to an Edward.You have to look beautiful.You can't just wear a simple dress.You have to look different"Mrs.Rosewood scolds.I nod and look down at the floor.
"Mrs.Rosewood!"Sophie scolds coming up to me and pulling me into a hug."It's her wedding.She can choose whatever she wants to wear.You have no right to scold her for choosing her own wedding dress"I look up at Sophie with tears in my eyes.Nobody has ever defended me.And to be honest it feels really good.
"Thank you Sophie"I whisper into her ear and she kisses my cheek."You don't have to thank me love"She says and I nod.
"So you like this dress?"Mrs.Edwards asks and I nod,shyly."Then we will be taking this one Stacy"Mrs.Edwards tells her,pointing at the mannequin.
"Sure!"Stacy smiles.
After taking my measurements Stacy takes us to the counter."This will be $20,000"She says and my eyes widen."I..it's too expensive.There is no way in hell that I can afford it.I..I will look for something cheaper"I say turning around but Mrs.Rosewood stops me.
"You aren't paying for the dress Ciara.I am gonna pay for it.You can't even afford the cheapest dress available here.All the dresses cost more than you and you will never be able to pay for the dress"Mrs.Rosewood scoffs and I look down on the floor.
Ouch!
Even though what she said is true,it still hurt coming from a women who was like a second mother to me.But not anymore.She lost that right when she told me about her plan.She showed me her true colour.The Rosewood's were only helping me to use me.Does that even make sense?
My thoughts are cut off when I feel a hand on my shoulder.I look up at Sophie."Are you alright?"She asks me with a worried look.I nod and give her a thankful smile before we walk up to the counter to purchase the dress.
As we walk into an Italian restaurant I roll my eyes.I should have known that we were going to a rich restaurant.All these rich people do is waste their money.
Can't we just eat at Mc Donald's?It would save alot of money and they can use that money for a good cause.
But even Mc Donald's is an expensive place for me.It's been a long time since I went out to eat with my own money.
As soon as we get out of the restaurant I sigh in relief.I can never get used to these places.I always feel out of place.I can never fit in a place full of stuck up rich people.The only rich person who is nice and kind hearted is Sophie and maybe Mrs.Edwards because she hasn't been rude to me till now,though I am very thankful for that.
As soon as they drop me at my place I grin.Today was such a long ass day.I am so fucking tired and my whole body aches.
I quickly throw my stuff on the bed and run up to the bathroom to take a hot shower.
Because there's nothing that a hot shower can't cure.Right?
