Once Zayn left I was bored, I had no homework, no family with me and on top of that our TV doesn't work anymore.
I decided to go upstairs and look in my dad's wardrobe.
Black, grey, brown, light brown. He always had to had his tops in that order, I loved it because I realised I'm just like him.
I'm a bit OCD when it comes to well... Anything.
The smell of his clothes made tears come to my eyes. This time no one could hear cry so Iet it all out.
I made my way downstairs, wearing one of my dad's plain t-shirts. I picked up my phone and remembered I had saved Cameron's number.
After two rings he answered.
"Kim?" his soft voice called.
"Can you please come over." I say through my cries.
"What's wrong! I'll be there in five minutes text me your address."
"Ok." I texted him the address and waited.
Why did I call him?
I guess I needed someone to comfort me.
I heard the doorbell ring and I opened it without checking who it is and I flung my arms over his neck.
"Why you crying?" he looks at me and then eyes my outfit. This must look really weird.
Should I tell him, I mean I've only known him for a day. I ignore my subconscious and go for it.
--
I told him I couldn't believe it after a day I told him. He stayed silent through all the story which was good because I don't want any questions.
"Come here." He wraps his arms around my waist and I cry into his shoulder.
It feels weird, expressing my feelings to someone with tears and words. He's very understanding, I've never met anyone like him.
"He might be far away, but I bet he thinks about you all the time. Don't cry, nothing is worth crying for, only fighting." His words echo through my brain, I want to get past the fact my dad won't be here for a long time.
"I just wish...I just wish I had a normal life." I stutter.
"You do, not everyone sees it though." His words can comfort an angel, how does he do it.
I smile and give him a small hug. "Thank you, Cameron." He smiles down at me.
"Anytime." He grins. " Wanna watch a movie, take your mind off things." I wish he didn't say it like that, I will never take my mind off my father.
"Horror, Drama, Romance?" He asks, I feel my cheeks flush with embarrassment.
"My television actually doesn't work." I look down.
"Look up angel, I've got a TV at my house. We can go if you want." I blush at his words and nod.
"I'll just leave my mother a quick note saying I'm at my friends house." Even though she won't be here when I come back.
Once we get to Cameron's, I get that homey feeling. The house is large, not too small like mine but not mansion big.
"You gonna get out or..." he looks at me, I smile and open the car door. I look back at him and he's walking towards the door. My cheeks flush with embarrassment, again.
"I don't think anyone is home." he slides the key through the door and we step inside.
The house looks cosy and warm. the walls are painted peach, the floor is Carpet. "This is a very cosy house." I look round.
"Yeah I blame my mom." He says,
"You live with your mom?" I almost laugh, but there is nothing to laugh about because I live with my mother... and father.
"Yeah. But she's hardly here you know, work, work, work." he rambles on, I find my self relate to this topic.
We go upstairs and I look round his scruffy room. The walls are a shade of navy, he has a king sized bed and a TV the size of my room.
"Can a TV get any bigger?" I ask as he laughs.
"Yeah haha, I won it."
"How."
"Oh don't worry, it's a long story." he laughs and brings his attention back to my eyes.
"Anyway, do you wanna watch it up here or down there."
"Up here." I decided.
The past hundred-eight minutes is spent with me crying and Cameron laughing.
I've never seen Dear John before, in fact I haven't seen many films.
"Well you took that well." he remarks.
I frown at him.
"It's not my fault your such a girl." he laughs harder. "It's not even that funny." I moan
"I forgot, I have to go home and get some work done." I lie putting my shoes on and wipe the remainders of my tears
"Want me to drive you?" He asks, I nod, since I don't want to walk in rain.
Once we get into the car, I find my self looking at his perfectly shaped head. I stare at him then realise it's weird so I look out the window.
"Is your eye okay?" He places a hand on my arm.
"Yeah, it just stings." I smile.
"He's gonna pay!" he almost shouts.
"No! Cameron don't do anything, it was an accident. It's okay I promise you."
"If it wasn't for you, I would of beat the shit out of him." I ignore his words and look back it out the window.
As he drives up the small, cramped drive way I notice a tall figure stands in front of the door. No, it can't be Zayn.
As we drive closer I come to conclusion that it is him. "Okay you stop here, thank you."
Cameron ignores me and squints his eyes closer to the door, and I see anger fume in his face.
"Did you ask him to come?" I'm not sure if I should yes or no, If I say no he will kill Zayn but if I say yes I'm stuck with Zayn.
"No..." I whisper. "But please leave it, he will probably go in a minute. Let me see what he wants."
"Let me come with you."
