Left my Luck at Home,

Its Monday again and I had to ride my bike today since I'm running late, again. Kelsi couldn't walk with me to school because she had chicken pox. I didn't know how long I'm going to school by myself but I'll survive anyway.

Last Friday we went to watch the worst comedy movie ever made in the history of comedy films. After that, we went to Kelsi's house. I dyed my hair green and she dyed hers into cotton candy pink. Little kids would stare and tug at their parents as we were walking in the park.

Yesterday, Kelsi called me saying she can't go to school the next day since she is now sporting her new look. Pink hair and pale skin with red polka dots. You'd get the idea. I had chicken pox when I was in 4th grade and it was hell. I stayed at home for almost a month, Why a month? Because it took my parents a long time to convince  me to go to school. I don't feel comfortable when someone stares at me.

As I rode my bike towards school, it started to rain. Oh my pink hello kitty, why do this to me?! Why now?!! I didn't even bring an umbrella! I just put my red hoodie up and hope it would just drizzle. But that's not what happened.

Wind was gushing harshly and the rain was so strong that I couldn't barely open my eyes. I'm almost in school, just 1 kilometer away. Positive thinking. Just as I was passing the intersection near my school, I slid. My luck! My bike slid because of how slippery the road gets when it gets wet.

I'm tired now. I took my bike and parked it beside a cafe and went in.

I missed my first two classes. Eventually it was still raining as I go to school, even if I had already  sat down inthe cafe for alomost an hour.  People were giving me sympathetic looks. I ignored them.

I had no spare clothes so I stick to wearing my wet clothes. I had no friends except for Kelsi. What am I gonna do?

By the last period I still looked like a psycho. Walking in school wet with green frizzy hair and make-up that was washed away by the rain.

I sat in my usual seat in spanish class. The boy to my right stared at me. Today he wore a black beainie and a plain white sweater with his very dark jeans. He had humor in his eyes and he was containing a laugh.

"What?" I asked him.

"You look like little red riding hood today," he gestures to my red wet hoodie but having a hard time to not laugh. " Little red riding hood who had dyed her hair green, who had walked alone in the woods, got kidnapped by the wolf and was drowned in his bath tub..." He trailed off and burst out, laughing so loudly. I hardly found anything funny about what he said.

I rolled my eyes. " I really don't care."

"Oh, it's about time you are talking to me now." He smiled and when he smiles you could definitely see how crooked his teeth was. It was cute... For someone like him.

"Come on, are you going to ignore me now?" He asks as he sees me look to my left, away from him.

"What do you want?!" I faced him now.

"My name's Jonathan. I might as well start an introduction since you were very shy last week. I bet your curiosity was eating you up last week. You probably wanted to know what's my name but then you don't have the guts to ask me," He leans forward " What's your name?"

"I'm not willing to introduce myself to some guy who has such an inflated head." I glared at him nut he doesn't seem freaked out by me.

"Well then, okay." He turns away from me. I swear that guy is nuts. Typical male.
