This is how I envisioned Clara, her name is hermione cornfield, and I think she's perfect for this.

Clara pov"There, finally unpacked!" I say to myself in my new home, I'm 19 years old and I just moved here from America to be closer to my family and I cannot be happier, I love the countryside and how peaceful it is, that's what I need in my life right now. Peaceful.
But if I'm completely honest, moving here for my family isn't the only reason I moved. I feel like the word should be escaped instead. Basically I was in a very bad and toxic relationship and he was so cruel. He broke me. And for the longest time I couldn't seem to find happiness, but over time I grew stronger and told him that I was leaving him, needless to say he wasn't pleased. He was hysterical, screaming and throwing things around his dirty city apartment. I was so scared I left for the one place I've always felt safe. England.
Hopefully here he won't find me, and I'll finally find some peace and quiet.
I look around my room and I am quite impressed with my decorating skills. Fairy lights around the ceiling and white sheet bed pushed against the wall for extra space, a small red rug on my hardwood floors. I placed my red drawers in between the doorways to my closet and bathroom, and my black desk next to the window.
The window.
I walk over to it, open it, and sit down at the desk placing my head in my hands looking out to see the top two floors of the biggest estate I've ever seen before. It's grey and looks like something from a Tim Burton film. Surrounding the house is a huge stone wall and I could just about see the huge entrance to the estate, huge wooden doors, stone pillar archway and at the top of the entry two gargoyles sit almost like they're guarding the house telling you to come inside, if you dare.
Just looking at the house sent shivers up my spine and made me want to look away
but yet something about it kept my eyes fixed upon a certain window of the house.
It was open, and I could see the the white curtains waving slightly from the breeze. Something... something is different about that window. Something about it pulls me towards the house, whispering my name.
I close my eyes as the cool spring breeze flows by my head, and I smell the most amazing and intoxicating scent. It smelt like a bonfire and pine forest.confused on why this smell had such an effect on me, I opened my eyes and looked at the window again. Only this time someone is standing there. I could make out their black shirt and I could definitely see that it was a man, but It was a bit far to see every detail, which frustrated me for some reason.
It felt like time had stopped. We just stared at each other for what felt like forever, when he suddenly closed the window and felt like time started again, but I don't want it to start. I want him to come back.... woah wait. What am I thinking. "Snap out of it Clara." I say to myself.
"JUST STOP YOUR CRYING ITS THE SIGN OF THE TIIIIMMMEES" my phone rings on full blast, startling me as I shut the window and make my way over to my bed where my phone sits,
"Hello?"
"OH DARLING!!! How are you my dear?! Did you have a good trip?! When will you come to visit?! Lovely weather we've had over here, you should go out and enjoy it while it lasts!"
My great auntie Glynis asks quickly, she's always been a character. She forgets words sometimes and says 'doo da' instead until she figures it out. she's the aunt who tells you to keep your elbows off the table and to sit up straight and such, it's always a fun conversation with her, she's always either being quite petty, or telling you off for not being polite enough.
"Hello auntie, I'm well thanks, yes I had a good trip, I'll visit once I'm settled. How are you?" I ask as properly as I can.
"Im quite well thank you darling, well I just called to welcome you home and that I love you very very much, and I hope to see you soon, I'm off to the coast now so I'll say good bye dear."
"Goodbye auntie have fun!"Chuckling as I say good bye I decide to go out and go get some food and walk around the town, seeing as my auntie gave me an update on the weather. But as I leave my room I can't help but look out the window again, hoping I see that mysterious man again, sadly I don't. I sign in disappointment and go downstairs. My house is quite small and has quite low ceilings which is fine for a 5 foot 5 inch girl like me.
There isn't much to explain about my living room, it's connected to the kitchen and has one couch and a tv over the fireplace, and my kitchen is plain, blue and white cupboards and a white countertop, walls are a nice light blue ans it kinda looks like I'm in Greece.
As I walk out my front fence gate, I look down the street and see an old pub, 'the red wolf', what a funny name, I think to myself as I walk down the street I feel the spring breeze and my auntie was right, this weather is really nice.I walk into the bar and it's just like a classic English bar you would see In movies. A couple of people here and there and two men at the end of the bar chatting with a bartender, I go and sit at the bar near the middle, and the bartender come over to me with a glass in his hand and a rag in the other, ooo he's cute... looks younger around 20, his hair, brown shorter and a strong jaw line with some good cheeks. And the deepest brown eyes, I could get lost in them, slight stubble as well and man is this guy hot.
"What can I get for you lass?" He asks nicely,
Yeah can I get a tall glass of you with a side of fries, I think to myself.
"Hi! Yes, can I get a beer please and do ou have fries- i mean chips?" I forget that they call fries chips. He chuckles and says "American? Now why are you in a little town like this? we don't get much tourists down here." He asks kindly.
"Yep! And I just moved here, i thought this town would be great since it's right in between Farnham, where my family lives, and London." I reply with a smile.
"Oh very good then, well the beer and fries," he says with a wink, "are on the house."
"Oh no you don't have to do that really-"
"Nonsense. Just take it as a welcome to petworth sort of thing." he winks again, does he have something in his eye, or is he flirting? I tuck my blonde hair behind my ear and I thank him as he walks off to get my food and drink.
"Bon appétit, beautiful." He says as he put the fries on the bar and walk back to the dishes at the other end of the bar.
Ok yep definitely flirting with me. Something about him just makes me squirm a little, which is strange since he's been so nice. I just brush it off as nothing.
Now I wish I hadn't.-------------------------------------------------
Hey guys! So new story! Might be crap, but I went to petworth in England (yep it's a real place!) on my trip to visit my family and this book idea kinda just popped into my head. Now this will be your common werewolf romance, but I really hope you give it a chance! And most of the places I will be referring to are real places, with a small embellishment of course cause the actual lord who live in the estate is a old grandad and her house is actually a few streets away, but anyway, my vision was like, south end of the home that's close in town and her house raised up a bit near the wall so she can just see the top bit of the house over the wall.See like this is her place,
And then like her house is like to the right
This gate and the house should be like right there so you can see the top two floorsOk I'm just rambling now 😂 yeah thanks for reading!
