Rin's P.O.V:-
"Hurry up, Rin!"
Len shouts from outside the house. I quickly take my bag and follow them. "Hey, I'm not that slow, sheesh," I crossed my arms as I look at my twin brother with a weird look. He just sighed and began driving.
Soon, he and Miku began talking about their small baby, the one that is coming really really soon.
"Come to think of it, did you guys choose a name for your kid anyways?" I ask out of nowhere. Len stares at me blankly from the mirror since I was sitting in the back seat while Miku was in the passenger seat.
He finally spoke and said, "no. We totally forgot about that," he says as he rubs the back of his neck nervously.
Seriously?
"What about you, Miku?" I turn towards Miku as I showed her a big smile, showing that I was curious to know her answer. She gave me a weak smile before giving me her answer, which was, "not yet, but I was thinking of a name that sounds just like the other Hatsunes'."
I smiled at her and turned to look at Len. "How about Mika? It fits both a boy or a girl! Also, it sounds like other Hatsunes'!" I suggested excitedly and waited for the couple's answer.
"Good idea, I say. How about you, Len?" Miku smiled at me and Len as she looked as excited as I was. Len sighed. "If Miku says so.." He shrugged while still focusing on the road. Both Miku and I jumped in happiness as we began doing some weird noises in the car.
"Girls, I'm trying to drive here," Len chuckled. "Ah, sorry," Miku smiled at him. "No problem, honey," he replied to her as he smiled warmly. "I ship them," I smirked. I swear, I saw Len shooting death glares from the mirror.
Why doesn't this guy like being teased? Oh, wait, who does?
"We're here," Len said as he parked the car in front of that restaurant they talked about earlier.
"Woah! It's pretty big, don't you think so, Miku?" I said childishly, staring at my teal-haired friend carrying that mysterious-calm usual smile of her. "I guess our child will just be like Rin-chan, Len-kun. We'll be kinda used to it." She chuckled. Len also giggled at the small joke she made. I just puffed my cheeks childishly while glaring at them.
Then, we finally decided to enter the restaurant. It was not that fancy, nor that classic. Such a beautiful place to relax, but also to have fun with others. It looked like it's for Royals but then appears to be not so like that from the inside. It was a good place to eat, but perfect for inviting friends. The best place for me.
I saw Mikuo sitting at a table for six people. I wanted to wave but then realized I'm in public, so I just gave up. After we reached the table, Len greeted him. "How's life, bro? Found a girl for you yet?" Mikuo smiled at Len, still holding the teacup in his hands. He must've ordered it earlier. "Nah. No luck. It seems I'm not interested in girls." Mikuo sighed.
Hearing these words, Miku gasped. Mikuo understood what she meant, so he decided to explain as fast as possible. "No, Miku, it's not like-" unfortunately, he was cut off by her, "don't you dare to touch my husband, you.." She said as she hugged Len's wrist tightly. Mikuo sighed, yet again. "I guess you guys won't understand what I meant till the right time comes.." I and Len giggled at them.
We ordered our food, then chatted about random stuff. I was calm, just listening to them. "To be honest, the name Mika kinda suits a boy more," Mikuo said, putting his left cheek on his palm. Miku chuckled as she rubbed her belly. "Hey, Mika, are you a male?" She smiled warmly. Len began whispering something as he rubbed her belly as well. "If so, please look like your father..!" He grinned happily. Miku giggled. "He may have my hair, Len-kun." Len smiled as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I don't care as long as he has my handsome face."
They completed talking about the baby until our order finally came. I ordered an omelet with hot pepper, so no one can steal my precious food. The others ordered sweet things like pancakes and such. We began eating slowly. "I see that Miku didn't eat leeks for too long.. Are you sure you know her well, Kagamine?" Mikuo asked Len out of nowhere, a sudden question I didn't expect him to ask.
Len smiled nervously. "Huh? Um.. Well, it's not like that... It's just, she didn't want them lately.." Len said, trying hard not to stutter. I opened my mouth to speak, but Miku cut me off before even saying a word. "Don't worry, Mikuo-nii. I guess it's just because I'm pregnant." She said with a serious face, yet carrying a warm smile on her face. Mikuo nodded slowly as he smiled back before continuing to eat his breakfast.
"Come to mention that, didn't you guys prepare for the wedding?" I said out of nowhere. They turned to look at me, surprised, maybe because I didn't talk that much. "Oh, no. We didn't think about it yet. Although we may plan for it after Miku gives birth to that child." Len said with a bored-cool look. "Oh," was the only word I left before continuing to eat my omelet.
I saw Mikuo smirk from the side, he didn't let his eyes turn to look at anything but me as they turned to look sharp- more like ready to tease someone. To be honest, without even hearing what he wanted to say, I regret talking at that moment.
"So, how's life with you, Rin? It seems you're doing good, aren't you?" He said, trying to not look like a sadist or a psychopath, but ends up looking like a professional one. I tried to act normal. "Y-yeah, living with Miku and Len is pretty good. I have fun with them.. Tons! Tons of fun with them!" I said faking a smile at him, then turning back to eat.
"Pretty interesting. How about your love life? Any improvements?" He asked, yet again, now mixing his juice before drinking it. Miku tried to speak, but she was stopped by Len holding her hand lightly. She stared at him for a while, then returned to eat as nothing happened.
On the other hand, I shivered. It was an easy question, although I didn't want to answer for some reason. My heart began beating faster and faster and I felt confused for some reason.
W-what's wrong with me..? Just answer it, damnit! It's an easy question! You already have the answer...!!
"Y-yes! I'm going on a date this Sunday!" I smiled nervously. See? Easy..
He looked surprised for a while, but then he brushed it off as he completed drinking his juice. "I see."
Ouch.. That was cold..
I acted like nothing happened, eating my breakfast quietly while listening to their chats.
It was a quiet, sweet morning.
