1.) For this round, we decided to go easy on everyone, including ourselves. We have been shackled and tied down by the previous rounds, restricting us to write using the genre and theme we are most comfortable with. So, I think it'd be safe to say that most, if not all, will agree that we all deserve a breather, a short break from all inhibitions each team set to make sure only the deserving gets to be on top.For Round 3, you will be writing a one-shot story with a word count ceiling of 3000 words (title excluded, MS word) and no minimum. Once the ceiling is reached and you decide to extend your story, a point will be deducted for every excess word. (1 point = 1 word)
2.) Let's slack off a bit for the genre. Write in whatever genre you like, and however you want it to be written. After all, we have our set of judges to criticize each entry. If it passes, then receive our warm congratulations as early as now. If not, then better luck next time.
3.) The theme for this round is ABUSE, all forms of it. But please be guided that you will be writing your stories based on the pictures we asked from your team leaders.
How does it work?• There will be seven (7) pictures for round 3.
• Each picture will be picked by each member of the team.
• You will not be allowed to choose a picture that's already been picked by your team members.4.) RR4 round 3 is not round 3 without its traditional special theme: the BED SCENE. Don't get too excited, guys, we're not done yet. The challenge here is to incorporate the special theme to your story while keeping it wholesome and reader-friendly. Write a bed scene that won't really make your whole story cheap and unrefined.
There are many ways to do that. One is to avoid using words vulgar enough to offend our readers. We hope this matter is clear.
Anyway, we are sending our apology to Lex. It is rather tempting to accept your offer to be one of this round's judges, but we are declining it. You have to feel what it is like to be this round's contender. We love you, tho. Hahaha!
