More Than Alive

I ran over to Eve crying. She was shot in the stomach and the lungs. I was begging for her not to be dead.

The police came along with the SWAT and they surrounded her dad.

"Harold Nulling! Its time. Your done being a bad guy. You're done getting out of jail. Your time has come." He raised his arm. "Ready! Aim! Fire!" All the SWAT shot at him. Its finally over. He's dead.

I looked down at Eve who feels lighter and looks pailer. I looked over to Lilly. She was passed out from all the screaming and she was just freaking out.

A paramedic came over to me and took Eve. "What happened to all of you guys?" I ran over to Lilly and so did she.

"I got shot first. Then he shot her and he wanted Eve dead so he shot her twice. Tell me, will she be alright?" She looked at me with a pity look.

"I dont know sir. We will try our best." We hopped in the ambulance and drove their. She keeps getting pailer but the second.

"Mr Gontier," I shot up and looked worried. She sounded like something bad happened.

"Your daughter is ok. She is just freaking out and that is normal for a child. Your wife on the other hand is not." A tear fell down my cheek. "She was shot in the lungs. And the liver. We were able to pull out the bullets but she is on life support. But don't worry. She is in a coma but only for a day. She will survive but she won't live for long." I ran to her room when the nurse was done talking.

There she was my beautiful wife. I can't believe she's going to die. I can't let that happen.

Eves POV

I woke up on a bed. The room around me was red and black. There was posters everywhere. This was my room from when I was little. I don't know why I'm here.

I went down stairs and saw mom and Johnny sitting at the table with Tyler and Michael.

"Hey Evelyn come sit with us!" Johnny pointed to an empty seat and I sat down at it. Everyone smiled at me.

Then Michelle, Kylie, and Adam came down and sat next to me. Where am I. Everyone I know is here.

"Hey Eve. How's it been?" Eithan said rubbing my shoulders. I immediately blushed and smiled. I missed him.

"I'm good." I said to him. My mom brought pancakes to the table and we all dug in.

Here I was sitting at a table with every I liked, looking like I was ten. This was like Paradise and I like it. I don't think I ever want to leave.
