The next day I don't think I even left my chair! I needed to get the project finished before my boss came an-
"DEMENCIA WE TALKED ABOUT THIS!!" I heard my heated (like always) boss scream to the psychotic girl, interrupting my thoughts.
I sighed and braced for the worst, I looked around the room and noticed something. I had been working so hard last night that I didn't notice Demencia had stole that antigravity device I made, I really need to throw it out....
I heard thuds over and over, my sweat gathering, I waited for my boss to crash i-
"FLUG-" My boss started screaming but stopped himself when I fell out of my seat, even though I was bracing myself he still made me jump. I cowered behind my chair.
"S-sorry sir...." I apologized, Black Hat gave me a confused look and I gave him the same in reply. "W-what's wrong..?" I asked, he went to open his mouth and answer but was interrupted by a massive thud and crash, making me flinch. My boss looked prepared to kill someone, he looked at me with a might rage.
"I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO THROW IT OUT!!" He screamed at me, I stood up and glared at him, he towered above me was probably about to murder me when he realized I was shaking and sweating(it was extremely obvious).
He took a deep sigh, "I have to go deal with her, get back to work!" He ordered me, which was normal but still different.
He usual hits me, or carries on screaming at me, but instead he calmed down a little and left.
I heard Demencia giggling and my boss barking orders at her, but I stood still in my lab. I was speechless and dumbfounded at what just happened, then I remembered the project and headed straight back to work. I wasn't gonna dwell on something that was minor and probably a one-off thing.
