"Okay kids, get in the truck we're moving, dad knows the place and so he'll be there when he finishes work… whenever that may be"

I sighed as I lifted up Rui into the moving truck, Sara just squeezed her way up and sat between us and the driver.

It took three hours and forty-five minutes to get to the new house. It was out in the country side where no-one else lived.

Great, a long drive to school every morning when they start…

When Usui had told me he'd bought a new house, he hadn't actually said how big it was; it was a mansion.

You'd probably heard my jaw drop from miles off.

I picked up Rui out the truck and held Sara's hand as she hopped out. I then started unloading bags and boxes out of the back of the truck. Rui and Sara started tugging at my legs. I bent down gently shaking my head. "Mummy has to unpack but look, our new garden is bigger than everyone elses and there's lots of trees" I smiled a little, rubbing Sara and Rui's heads softly.

It took me a few hours to unpack but that was everything.

Finally.

I started on dinner as Sara and Usui explored the remaining rooms of the house. In my back pocket, my phone began to ring. I ignored it.

And again.

I finally gave in and answered with a "Hello? Who is this?"

Over the line I could only just make out what sounded like a gentle chuckle. "It's me~" the gentle chuckle stated.

'Usui'

I sighed heavily down the phone. "Putting you on loud speaker…" I muttered pressing a button and placing my phone down on the table. I was checking on Sara and Rui's dinner.

"So, Misaki, how are you?" He gradually asked.

"Well, since you asked, only recently did I get your email on how we'd be moving, yet your not even here…" I said as I brushed strands of my dark brown hair behind my ear.

"And?" Seemed to be his only response.

I sighed a little, glancing away from the phone. "And what?" I asked.

"Well, what is that in ‘Misaki’ language? What are you trying to tell me?"

"I guess… I guess I'm trying to say it's been nearly three years and I miss you…" I winced my eyes as silent tears escaped the source.

"Misaki…" Usui's voice deepened, just a little. "Put the camera on, I will too"

I sighed and did as he said, pulling up an old oak stool to the table. I tried to smile a little.

"That's better~" Usui smiled, adjusting his camera. "Now I can tell you face to face."

"Tell me what?" I asked as I got up to check on dinner once again.

"Well~" Usui's emerald orbs glistened in a fragile-like way. "I'm actually on my way home now, I'll be home tonight~" he stated.

I smiled a little, trying to hold back my remaining tears from before. "That's good…"

Usui smirked a little. "And when I get back, I can't wait to do y–" Usui paused.

"Mummy?! Is that daddy's voice I hear?" Sara screached as she came running in. "Is daddy home?!"

I sighed, laughing out, quite loudly, which soon turned to somewhat of a snort. "Sara" I giggled a little. "You wanna talk to daddy while I dish up dinner?" I smiled, standing up for her to sit down.

As I filled both Sara and Rui's plates with mashed potato, chicken and gravy I started to hum without realising. Sara snickered a little from the table, Rui was stood at my feet. Usui laughed along with Sara. "Cute noise~" He stated.

I just ignored his comment and placed their plates down on the table, sitting with Rui on my lap. Whilst they ate I continued to talk to Usui, it almost didn't seem right not to…

After I'd put Rui and Sara to bed, I switched on the television and was about to sit down, just as a knocking came at the door. Who was it?

It seemed a little too soon to be Usui…
