Expectations. (A Kaichou wa maid-sama fanfiction)

|21| Fifteen years into the future.

The next few weeks seemed to be harder than I thought they'd be, Sara wasn't happy that Usui wasn't there for her birthday but what can I do? He didn't even send a birthday present. What was even harder was the fact that I'd fallen pregnant. If Usui was still here now he'd be disappointed in me. I've tried calling him but he won't answer.

I think George started to find it difficult living with myself, Sara and Rui but he soon got used to it.

It was fun living with George, he knew how to cook, kind of like Usui and he was great with Sara and Rui. When the baby came along George did a great job at looking after my baby and me, we named her Yuki, she was beautiful and had dark brown hair full of curls.

After a few years had passed, I became a teacher, I worked in quite a few schools until Sara started highschool and then I was offered a job as deputy head though the lack of staff did mean I was sometimes teaching, it actually happened quite regularly. After another two years the head teacher fell sick and had to resign, I seemed to be the best replacement, I did work my butt off after all.

Sara was always off with friends, which was odd, because she didn't actually have any. Rui preferred to stay at home and I'm pretty sure Yuki just liked to wander, she seemed to get hurt a lot too.

I was never lonely, George was always by my side. I even had a little kitten names ‘Lecht’ that kept me company when he was busy or away.

Recently, Yuki started highschool where I worked, Rui had just finished highschool the year before, though he was training to be a teacher at the school she I was working at and Sara had just turned Twenty, though she refused to go to University, she was working part time in a hospital. By now I'd even gotten married.

Thinking about it now, so much has happened over the past fifteen years, it almost happened as fast as the blink of an eye. Before I knew it, I'd fallen asleep.

"Mrs Souma– I have something important for you–" I was nudged by my secretary, Kisa Tobaso, she had short black hair, she was a lovely girl and very respectful. "It's about the new deputy head who'll be joining next month, you've received a letter-"

"Just file it." I bluntly ordered. "Sorry Kisa, guess I'm tired, I'll read it later" And boy, I wish I had read it.

Coming out of the school, I received a phone call. "Hello–" To my surprise it was Sara, apparently Yuki was brought in with a badly fractured and dislocated leg. This was a problem, it took me half an hour to get to the hospital due to not having a car.

"Yuki–" I yelled, running into the hospital ward she was in. "Are you okay?!" I threw my bag down as I rushed to her aid. Yuki would just nod with a smile. "Sorry, mama, I got hit by a car…" she then said.

I quickly wrapped my arms around her, hugging her tightly. "You're dad is stuck at work but he'll be able to come and see you tomorrow" I smiled as convincingly as possible.
