Chapter 1.
Montana
The car ride with three men drove me crazy. My thirteen year old brother Klerk blasting music in the car, my dad trying to sing the music and my older brother Ryan laughing at him.
Ryan is 19 and in college but he decided to stay with us for a few days so we can settle into the new house.
"Hannah can you pass me that bottle" Klerk said pointing to the empty bottle "but its empty" I said passing it to him any way "I know, I have to take a crazy piss" he said snatching the bottle "eww, dad can you stop the car Klerk has to go to the bathroom" I said leaning towards the driver seat "no can do honey I'm on the highway"
I looked out the window as I heard my brother peeing in the bottle, this is gonna be a long trip.
I'm Hannah, 17 years old and a junior in high school. I really miss my best friend Kim but we promised each other to keep in contact.
Moving to Montana means moving closer to family mostly on my moms side. She grew up here and she got buried here so this place is bringing back memories that I tried to ignore.
We left New York really early and it's now two o'clock in the morning, we finally reached Montana but before going to our new home we stopped my aunts house...my moms sister
My dad parked the car and I got out, Klerk was sleeping so Ryan tossed him over his back "damn what have you been feeding him" he said trying to get a good grip on Klerk
I noticed how different it was in my aunts neighborhood, but it has been 5 years since I've been here. my dad rung the door bell as me and my brother walked up to the door.
"You better behave" my dad said mostly looking at the brothers then at me. The door flung open and my aunt Brenda appeared in her night gown and slippers.
"Can it be... its the Morrow's" she said calling us by our last name "Brenda how are you?" my dad said giving her a hug "I am fine oh come in" she said opening the door wider
We walked in one by one giving her a hug and greeting her.
"Hannah you look just like your mother" she said squeezing the life out of me "and Ryan you've gotten so big" she said hugging his 6'1 body "aww Klerk" she said brushing his hair with her hands "boo!!" he said scaring aunt Brenda. "I thought you were sleep" she said catching her breath "sorry" he said as Ryan placed him on the floor.
"Where is Jake" my dad said to Brenda "oh sleeping, ill wake him up" she said walking up the steps.
My dad sat on the couch and my brothers followed him. I decided to take my own route and walk around the house. I noticed a whole bunch of photos of my cousins the last time I have seen them the youngest was two and the other was my age but I was born 5 months earlier.
I also noticed pictures of my mom same dirty blonde hair as me, brown eyes and a great smile. there's also photos of Brenda and Jakes wedding.
I walked to the porch in the backyard and I heard trash cans falling. I walked to the doors and noticed a teenage boy running over the fence I looked up and saw my cousin Lilly.
Hmm she is not so innocent as I remembered I thought to myself as I walked back to the living room. I heard talking in the distance, it was my uncle Jake.
I walked into the living room "Hannah is that you?" he said Jake always had a fun personality "yes" I said giving him a hug
Me and my brothers ate some food while the adults talked about our living condition...I overheard them saying that were spending the night here and were moving into our new house tomorrow. But I couldn't stop thinking about the boy running from the house I wonder if that was Lilly's boyfriend.
We stayed at my aunts house for the night and since school started already I heard Lilly and her little sister Carmen getting ready for school.
Once they left and Jake left for work, Brenda made breakfast for us. After eating breakfast it was time to go to our new home in Montana.
