A/N HI!! So thanks for the positive reviews, they helped out a lot. I’m on spring break so I’m hoping to write at least three or more chapters. I’m not sure if I have the store end this week or the following week. I’m having the epilogue ready.

After the whole incident of Sara’s death, everything was peaceful for the moment. I still haven’t spoken to Takuma. I didn’t even know what say to him. I mean, how can you even start a conversation? Hi, sorry about your loss but I’m glad she’s dead and burning in hell… Nope. Can’t say that can I? Sometimes I wonder if our friendship is over? After everything we’ve been through, it seems we keep crashing against one another. Its as though we were never meant to be friends in the first place?
Looking outside, the sky was gray and not one beam of light was shining. Gloomy days like this, makes me want crawl back further into bed and flip off the world for being so cruel. But of course I couldn’t do that, once a knock came to my door. Letting out a loud groan to whoever the person who was knocking could hear that I was not in the mood. Opening the door it was none other than Zero who was not my boyfriend but sometime is my boyfriend. Our relationship is in a complicated state if you haven’t notice.
Soon as he entered, I zipped my lips. The moment we came back to Cross Academy, I swore to never speak to him. Why? Because this arse keeps breaking promises. He told me I would be by his side then he tried to put me back in the cell! I felt like toy that has been broken to many times to be played with.
“I’m leaving to search for more clues on where Kuran might be hiding” He spoke as if he was trying to hide a point into what he’s saying. Not having much of a choice, I had to speak. Grabbing a sock from the floor using as my personal puppet.
“Rin is still not ready to speak to you so Mr Sock Puppet would. Why is Rin not coming too!” Zero let a drop a sweat of annoyance fall from his forehead. I guess he was hoping that I would finally speak to him.
“Rin can’t come-” My puppet was twitching with anger. Before I could cuss, I mean Mr Puppet cuss every word at him. A smirk pulled across his lips “Unless Rin gives me a kiss”
Swiping my puppet from my hand, pushing me onto my bed, all I could do was glare at him. Sometimes I wonder why I even liked him again? I think it was his gray hair or his pierced earrings? No, I shook my head “ I’m still mad at you!” I snapped then realization hit when I spoke. DAMMIT! His eyes soften and I knew I was dead once he pulled that move. Cupping my cheeks his lips softly landed on mine. My cheeks felt wet and I didn’t even know they were mine. You think you’d notice if you were crying but apparently you don’t.
“Rin, please don’t be mad at me, I want you safe is all” Gripping on his jacket as if I was holding onto my sanity.
“Well you have a funny way of showing it” I choked out. Quickly I tried to blink away the tears but as much as I tried more fell. I hate crying for him; I felt like bits of my dignity as women was breaking like petals on a rose. Lifting me up from under me, holdin up like a child was the many things I hated. Reflecting from his gray eyes was an ugly girl with puffy wet eyes.
“I didn’t know you cry so much” He said making me feel an emotion women on menopause. I was tired and weak with him. Love makes people feel stupid. I wondered if it did the same for him? And I was right. A silver ring with a small diamond was pushed up my finger. My eyes went wide. This guy literally was going to be the death of me!
“Rin, I promise to love you and cherish you. Would you please marry me” He whispered in my ear. Have you ever felt that you might have heart attack because your heart was pumping so fast. I wanted to push him and say have you lost your mind but I can see was dead serious.
“You’re going to drive me insane, you do know that” I sighed. He gave me a small smile before he gave me a peck on my cheek as I whispered the following words that would change my life forever

Waiting outside the gate, to find Yuki jumping over. Couldn’t she just I don’t know, go through the gate? Seriously it’s not that hard. When she glanced over my way, I was relieved that the sweater I wore, the sleeves were too long for the ring to be noticed. I would be a liar If I said, I wasn’t embarrassed by it.
“Do you intend to leave without saying anything?” Zero said as I was folding my arms.
“That wasn’t very nice, Yuki, sneaking out was my thing” I smirked. She gave me a bashful smile knowing that we would come anyway. What can I say we are the three musketeers when one goes, we all go!
“I thought you guys would come… but the association can’t carry out their responsibility. Right now I can’t take away people who are needed though kind-hearted future association president-san and Mrs. president.” She said smirking the last part. My jaw hung open as I stared at both of them constantly. SHE KNEW!!!
“Are you going to do as that women says?...or do you plan on to accompany her” Up on the gate wall was my worst nightmare come to life. Kaito. He stood up and tall with a weird weapon.
“The association didn’t give you such a command, right Zero” He roared jumping down with the sword. Zero reflect with his gun pushing the metals together.
“KAITO” Zero grunted.
“This is presiden’t cross’ sword. Besides this sword, the ‘blood rose’ you carry and the Artemis’ and whatever Rin carries are the handful of anti-weapons that remain, we have to take every possible precaution. yet you think’s okay for you to leave the association and take your weapon along?” He said. Well when he put it that way, it makes us feel like crap.
“This is disloyalty. As your supervisors, I’ll have to detain you” He stated. As new former president I’ll have you veto out I thought to myself sarcastically. Painfully, Zero gripped onto the sword as blood began dripping, punching kaito square in the face in the process.
“You bastard, that hurts.” Kaito sneered. He should have known that Zero met business once he went all macho holding the sword with his bare hands. What do you think he was going to do? say sorry and come back?...
“It doesn’t matter if it’s disloyal or running away I’ll still go” Zero declared holding my hand.
“Don’t you understand...that the one standing over there is a pureblood vampire. You...and my brother were both turned by those creatures of darkness. Their existence is one that we’ll never be compatible with. Whether it’s life-span or in terms of their unnatural strength” He said harshly. I couldn’t help but glomp on Yuki. I covered her ears to comfort her from the mean words the stupid hunter said. But i can see in her hard stare it didn’t bother, I think.
“I understand Kaito, you had to take your brother’s life with your own hands...I also understand that you don’t have an emotional outlet. But, I..
“I see. I get it now” He smirked. Next thing you know Kaito punches Zero in the face as payback. I didn’t know whether to go help him but to see that Zero got what’s coming to him I shrugged.
“Go quickly, and together do something about Kuran Kaname. And you Rin! if you don’t fix this mess, I’ll get you back for nearly suffocating me” He shouted. Cold sweat dripped from my back, dear God, he still remembered. Pulling out his sword, me and Yuki took both of Zero’s arms and ran like there’s no tomorrow.
I’m not exactly proud of this chapter I think I should have wrote more but writers block sinking in if I didn’t wrote something. Hopefully you guys enjoyed though :)
