"A world of darkness doesn't become any lighter without any darkness, because if not, the stars couldn't shine."

her feet walked into the store, and a small smile appeared on her face when she saw the handsome sitting behind the counter.

"let me guess, a blade?" he said looking up.

"no I already have that idiot," she said with a hint of giggling in the end, "I need something else today."

he raised his eyebrows when those words escaped form her plump pink lips.

"smoking isn't good for you." he said.

"you can't tell me what to do handsome," she said playfully, "I can do whatever I want."

he rolled his eyes and gave her the cigarettes.

"did I ever say that was what I needed?" she asked.

he smiled weakly and shook his head no.

"so tell me, what do you need my pretty blonde?" he asked and leaned forward.

her heart jumped over a beat at his move.

"a six pack." she said.

his face lighted up as his lips formed the words "well okay."

he pushed his chair back and grabbed the edge of his shirt. ripping it off in a speed that felt like forever to maya.

"hey handsome, keep your clothes on. I don't wanna get caught staring at a man without a shirt working in a cold and dark shop." she said covering her eyes.

"you right. your eyes has never seen anything so beautiful, so they need good time to look at it closely." he said.

maya rolled her eyes as he sat down putting on his blue shirt again.

but damn, his abs was lit.

"now give me my bear." she said giving him the money.

"you are too young." the boy said.

"I'm eighteen."

"lawful, great." he said smirking.

she reached out her hand as he handed her the bear. their hands touched as their eyes look first down on their hand then into each other's eyes.

maya cleaned her throat and quickly pulled her hands to herself.

"what for?" he asked pointing at the six pack changing the subject.

"none of your business handsome." she said and walked out.

"well well my secretive little beauty." he said.

a van stood outside the building. and a cold shock went through her body as she saw her stuff.

she ran up to her apartment. a note hang on the door.

next time remember to pay the rent.

ugh!

she turned around so her back faced the apartment door. she slid down.

tears popped out of her ocean blue eyes.

my stuff, she thought.

fuck

she stood up in a hurry and ran down. her necklace was in a tiny little blue box in her apartment.

it must be in the van

she opened the door and almost fell down. it was gone. both the van and her only memory of her mom.

"FUCK IT!" she shouted. and just with that raindrops was falling down from the drak heaven.

she walked up again, not knowing where to go. she started crying, completely disappearing in her own messed up world.

why does everything happens to me?

no wait. it's better this happens to me than anyone else. i think i most have done something to deserve this.

she pulled up the blade from her pocket and cut one time on her right hand before a voice interrupted her.

"you?"
