"You have a 4 o'clock meeting with your father. After that you have an 6:30PM dinner with the new investors, Mrs. Gonzalez and Mr. Lopez. And.." I couldn't bear anymore of these responsibilites that I have as the new Vice President of our family business.
My perfect secretary lists out my schedule for the day. In broad daylight, I'm stuck in this room, doing stupid paperworks. And for whose benefit? My father's.
"I get it already."
"That's all for today. You don't have much to do after your 8PM dinner with your family." She says. She doesn't smile nor laughs. She simply says what she needs to say.
Brianca Mhae Briones.
One day, as I was appointed as Vice President of the company, she was chosen to be my right-hand as well. She appeared like any assistant would.
She wore a magenta colored formal suit. I think she has about five of them. She doesn't change out of it, coming to the company with the same dress on every single day.
The only thing I know about this woman is her name. That's all. Her professionalism is beyond amazing. Bianca doesn't show no weakness, nor emotions. I don't know if she has feelings or not, but not once did I ever see her smile or laugh in front of me and the company staff.
I don't even know her age, where she lives or her family. I'm her boss. I should know something about what she does on weekends, right? I mean, the bond between the boss and the assistant is important, right?
"Bianca, can I ask a question?" I suddenly had this urge to ask a personal question. "What is it, sir?"
"Do you hate me?"
I watched her expression carefully. Her poker face was kept still. "What kind of a question is that, vice president?" She just turns around and heads for the door.
"Shit.."
Did I mess up the chance of getting to know her? She's hot, yes. She's sexy, yes. She's.. beautiful, yes. Just like my type. But, that's not what draws me to her. My attention is not on her looks.
But on her mysteriousness. She's a mystery no one has yet to discover. "And I want to be the first one to discover what's behind that mask she wears."
That woman wears her mask so perfectly, you can't see through. You won't be able to because it covers her entire being all at the same time.
-----Finishing all of my work, I had free time before I knew it. "Good work today, Vice President." Bianca says while arranging the mess on my desk. "I shall get going."
I see all my employees in public, and she won't let me even see her once outside of work! Is she hiding from me!? ARGH. I don't know anymore.
"Are you doing something tonight, Bianca?" I ask.
"Well, no.." she answers. "No. I don't have anything to do but walk around the city and get some fresh air. Why?" She slips on her black leather jacket and stands in front of me like she always does.
"Wanna go out and have a drink with me? I mean, it's been a year since we met, and we haven't gone out for drinking! It's upsetting!"
"Upsetting who, exactly?" She scoffs and crosses her arms, but her expression doesn't change.
"Upsetting me." I smirked. I grab my jacket on my swivel chair and grabs her hand. "We're going out to drink!"
"But, si---"
"No buts, today. I'm your boss, you do as I say, Bianca~"
"Alright then. Okay."
