Oli's POV ~ The Room

I look at the door which slowly creaks open. Something scatters to the edge of the room.
But, as I step forward I see a chest of drawers with over 30 candles lined up on. They are big, tall candles. The scented kind. This room smells so fresh but old. Like someone was trying to remove something from their past, or maybe, something happened in this room.

Something drops down beside the chest in the tiny space between it and the green wallpapered wall.
I walk over and pick it up. There is the lady from the earlier pictures, but the picture has been burnt on the corners, leaving a burnt tinge around the edge.

The lady is sat on a bench in the garden in front of a house. I look closer and realise it is the house i am in right now.

Bert comes over to me and looks over my shoulder at the picture.

I look up at the candles, they cant have been burning for long, although, the candle is shrinking. Suddenly, all the candles flicker, as though some one waved a hand in front of them with force. Bert and i are about 2 metres away from them so it couldnt have been us. I gulp.

We have a little look around the rest of the room, there is just the chest of drawers with the candles on and a dusty wardrobe. This looks like the best place we could possibly stay in.

I go over to the wardrobe to check it out. It is a big wardrobe with 4 doors, one of which with a mirror on. I look at my reflection, i look tired and scared. My hair is a mess and I look like i have let myself go. I grab the camera and film myself in the mirror with Bert behind me.

"Okay, we found this creepy room guys, Its really weird and there are so many candles on the chest of drawers over there, like why? So yeah, we are gonna camp out here and will update soon!" I add to the momento of this journey.

I switch the camera and tug on the doors in turn. All of them are locked and there is no obvious key whole. I will try again when i have eaten.

I walk over to Bert who is on the floor near to the candles, getting a blanket out of her bag.

I grab my blanket out of mine, stroking the fluffy red material. I wrap it around myself and grab my flask out.

I start pouring the steaming tomato soup into the cup and tip the warm liquid down my throat.

I see Bert produce a chocolate cake from Tesco. I clear my throat and she looks at me.

I simply produce my empty hand, in which she places a slice of the lovely chocolatey goodness.

I giggle at her sipping some of my soup like an old lady, before erupting into full blown cackles, with which Bert joins in.

We are so busy laughing we do not notice a shadow slowly emerging from the corner of the room concealed by the wardrobe and head across the room.
