"I'm not going back!" He yelled to himself as he covered his ears in frustration. Thinking of her made him get butterflies, but butterflies full of lies, lies she told. As he was lost in his thoughts, his phone started to ring. He turned to it and sighed as he answered the call.

"Who's this?" He asked with a broken voice.

"Winwin" The familiar female voice replied also with a broken voice. It hurt Winwin's heart to hear her like that.

"Y/N, why are you calling?" He asked trying to hold in the tears that had been threatening to fall out.

"I've been trying to get a hold of you" she replied clearly hiding her sadness. "How are you?" She asked scared of his reply.

"I'm broken" he simply replied heartless.

"I did this to you...didn't I?" She stuttered.

"Break me? Hurt me? Leave me heartbroken? It wasn't your fault" he stopped to take a breath, but continued. "It was mine. I should've known, you were a living lie right from the start. You were never honest, I'm so stupid for falling for you. To be honest, I think the only thing you said that was true...was when you said you never loved me...that, that's believable."

"Another lie" she commented, which took Winwin by surprise.

"What?" He questioned with a curious tone.

"I lied. Again. When I said I never loved you. I really did, I really do" She whimpered a bit before continuing. "Please open the door" she asked. Winwin looked around confused, until he saw a shadow on the other side of his apartment door. With a heavy heart he approached the door, slowly opening the door for Y/N to enter. Once he opened the door, they made eye contact, a billion butterflies flew in Winwin's stomach, he gulped as he stepped aside for her to enter. She stepped foot into the room and a sensation rushed over her. She turned to Winwin, he had a straight face on, but she could see the sadness behind the mask.

"I lied that time. I just never I thought I could fall for a member of NCT. I was taught that you guys were the bad guys, until recently. But when I learned more about you, I couldn't help but fall in love, I denied again and again trying to think straight, When it was supposed to be the other way around with you. With you I was thinking straight, I was happy and wasn't under pressure. But I was under control, I was forced by my boss to hurt you and the rest of NCT. I was ordered to take you guys down" she looked down in disappointment, Y/N hated herself for being so blind.

"I am the stupid one" she stated as a tear rolled down her cheek. Winwin teared up just at the sight.

"But...I can't come back...I can't go back to the way I used to..." Winwin replied as he walked towards Y/N. "If you don't do anything" he said as he pulled her into an embrace. She immediately wrapped her arms around his waist and letting a few tears of joy escape her eyes.

"We will find another way to be together without hurting any of us" Winwin said as he patted her head. "We can't let our sides take control of us, we have to fight hard...we have to show our love to everyone, remind them that your enemy is the one who knows you best, your enemy has their own side of the story" He said fairly wise as he pecked Y/N's forehead.

"If we are reading a series, we need to read all the books to figure out what's going on, to figure out the truth. Shall we uncover the book and see what's really happening, show everyone that there's more to a book than its cover." He finished as he grabbed Y/N's hand and walked out of the apartment, entering a new book, entering a new world.
