She made it through the next three days of shooting for the MV, earning nonstop teasing from the members for getting with their grandpa Suga. Yoongi only smiled and watched her whenever he had the chance, entranced by the little things she did.
The last days of the shooting were tiring for her, and if she found them rough, god only knows how bad it was for the group. They didn't talk or have any time to explore what had happened and the only person she had to turn to was Sura.
Sura was no help.
She had squeeled, overly excited and started asking questions about him, like how his lips felt, how his hands felt, how his hips felt against hers. She merely sighed, answering the questions without telling too much.
She definately bit into the forbidden fruit, and she couldnt help but want more.
On their day off after the shooting was done, she woke to a knock on her door around noon. Curious, she opened it and found Yoongi standing there, a black dust mask over his face, his black cap pulled low. He wore torn blue jeans, red hightops and a loose white shirt, a long sleeved black shirt underneath.
"Yoongi? What are you doing here?" She pulled him inside, quickly shutting the door. "What if someone saw you?"
He shrugged, kicking off his shoes and pulling down the mask. "Im taking you on a date. Go get ready."
Stunned, it took her a second before she rushed to her bedroom, staring at her closet. "Where are we going?"
"Im going to take you to one of my favorite coffee places. Then maybe we could take a walk."
She slipped on a pair of jeans, a fitting black t shirt and a long brown cardigan, wrapping a scarf around her neck. Leaving her hair down, she walked out, finding him looking through her pictures on her camera.
"Is this your friend?"
She glanced, and yes, it was Sura. And the picture he was looking at was her making a silly face while Sura just looked disappointingly at the camera. She smiled. "Yep. She's always upset that I cant take a good selca with her. Thankfully, she's given up."
Sitting her camera down, he eyed her, giving her an appreciative smile. "Are you ready?"
Nodding, she followed him out, watching him pull up his dust mask and pull down his hat. He led her to a black sporty car, the alarm beeping as he unlocked it. Surprised, she slid in, the interior had wooden accents and dark leather seats.
"This is a beautiful car. Is it yours?"
He nodded, smiling at her. "Buckle up."
They drove to a small coffee shop, the inside was quiet and smelled wonderfully of coffee. He led her to the counter, the young woman smiling at them.
"Hello, what can I get for you today?"
"Iced Americano," he said, looking down at her.
"Oh, same." she said quickly. Her eyes wandered around the wooden walls, taking in the large open windows, the plants that accented the room. Walking to a quiet corner, she felt her gaze drift to him as he waited for the coffee. He turned and looked at her, their eyes meeting.
She stuck out her tongue, laughing, and he only shook his head at her. The barista handed the coffee over and he was quickly seated in front of her, sliding her coffee over.
"Thank you, Suga." she took a long drink, finding it refreshing.
"I like it when you call me Yoongi." he reminded her, looking out the window. "Its a nice day."
"I'm actually surprised to see you out." she admitted. "From what I've heard, you don't go out much."
He shrugged at that, looking at her as he pulled down the duster, drinking his coffee. "I wanted to see you."
She smiled at the table, and she remembered something. "Oh! Did you know we've known each other for almost two years now?"
He chuckled at that. "Oh really?"
"I honestly cant believe it. It kind of feels like everything is still new."
He leaned forward, "Things between us are new."
She bit her lip. "Do you think we can talk now?"
He looked out the window, silent as he thought. "What if it ruins whatever is starting here?"
"If it does, then it wasnt supposed to be."
He looked at her, studying her this time. "I want us together."
His blunt and forward confession had her heart melting. Unable to help the little smile on her face, she bit her lip. "If that is what you want..." she sighed, trying to play cool and failing.
He laughed, "Are you ready to take a walk? There's a park nearby."
Nodding, she followed him out as he pulled up his mask, glancing back at her. She wanted to run up to him and take his hand, but she knew he didnt like PDA and didnt like holding hands. She followed him only for a little bit before she said fuck it. Reaching out, she grabbed his hand, walking in time with him.
Surprised, he looked down at her, to their joined hands, before looking away, not saying anything. But he moved his hand so their fingers were interlaced, causing her to smile. The park was only a five minute walk away and it was beautiful. The trees were dropping their colored leaves, there was secluded benches hidden away in areas where the flowers would be most prominent in the summer, and there was a large pond with ducks floating on it.
They walked in silence, hand in hand, enjoying just being there together. Finally he sat down, lazily crossing his legs, an arm over the back of the bench, his hand toying with a strand of her hair.
"I am devoted to my work," he began, watching people walk by. "Im busy all the time and I cant guarantee you that we'll talk that often when we're touring. I cant guarantee that we'll have a lot of time together. All I can do is try."
She merely nodded, enjoying the way his fingers played in her hair. "I understand."
He shifted so he was leaning on his knees, looking at her. "The last person I tried to get serious with said she understood but all it did was create a headache."
She felt jealous instantly at the mention of an ex that she didn't even know he had. Clearing her throat, she suppressed the feeling. "Well, hopefully I don't become a headache for you."
He studied her, as if evaluating whether or not he wanted to really try, when he slowly nodded, sitting back. "Okay." Standing, he held his hand out to her and she instantly took it. "Let me take you home."
