Chapter 7 :)

I turn around and see Nash.

"Hey! I didn't get your name earlier."

"Sarah" I say smiling like an idiot.

"I'm Na"

"Nash. I know who you are." I say cutting him off.

"You're pretty good at volleyball. Do you play on a team" "yea at my school. Me and my friends all play volleyball. We love it!

We talked for awhile while Matt and Maritza hung out. Claudia and Hayes were flirting, and Emily was bumping around the volleyball with a few of the guys. Skipping school wasn't so bad!

I look at my watch. "Crap! It's 2! We gotta go girls! I yelled. " we don't want people wondering where we were back home. Let's go"

We say our goodbyes. As we're running, I hear Matt yelling to us.

"Wait! Wait! Maritza I didn't get your number!"

We just laughed and Maritza got his number. We didn't tell the guys we were going to Magcon on Saturday. I hope they remember us. So we got back on the bus where we came from. I look down at my phone. 1 voicemail 4 texts and 3 missed calls from David.

"Uhh!!"

"What's wrong?" Asked Emily.

"Nothing I'm fine."

"Um ok."

We get back and head home.

My phone buzzes. David's calling. Uh just great!

"Hello?"

"Where were you today?"

"I was sick."

"Oh. I hope you feel better! I'm gonna come over and visit you! I'll be there around five."

"Ok see ya then! Bye."

"Bye babe,"

Great! Now I have to pretend I'm sick without my parents knowing I'm pretending since they think I was in school.

*Five*

I hear a knock on the door. It must be David. I open the door and see him with a bouquet of flowers.

"Hey David!"

"Hey. I bought you these! I hope you like them."

He's such a sweet guy but he gets jealous easily. I guess that means he must care about me. About us.

"They're beautiful. You wanna watch a movie? I'll make popcorn. In case you're wondering I'm feeling ALOT better." I say trying to hide the fact I'm lying.

"Sure."

I make the popcorn. What I didn't know was that Claudia gave Cam and Nash my number. When I left to make popcorn, I left my phone on the couch. My phone buzzes of course. And it's from Cam.

David read the text. It read:

Cam: hey beautiful! It's Cameron. It was nice seeing you! Hope we meet again!

David's POV

Sarah's phone buzzes so I picked up her phone to see who it was from. It was from some guy named Cameron. I thought she was sick! I knew she was lying to me.

Sarah's POV

I come back to see David on my phone.

"What are you doing with my phone?"

"Idk you tell me. What were you doing TODAY? Who's Cameron and why is he calling you beautiful? That's my job!! I'm leaving!

"Wait, David! There's nothing going on! I promise!"

"You lied to me! You said you were sick! How could you lie to me like that?? I'm done here! See you in school tomorrow."

Crap! Is all I think to myself. What have I done??
