A few months passed. We had been looking for a house, but nothing we had found. We only found one person apartments and rotted houses for rent and sale. We needed a home that we could gave enough room to raise a family. But no there was nothing.
"That looks like a nice house." Called Josh.
"Yea -probably crap, though." I replied.
"Yes, but why not just try? We might get lucky." Josh said grabbing my hand and shaking it for excitement.
"Fine." I answered with a grin.
We pulled over and got out of the car and then looked in the windows.
"Looks like open house." Josh said as he went for the door to knock.
Knock! Knock!
"Hello? Come on in. Open house today." The man said as he led the way in.
We walked in, immediately I fell in love with the house.
The walls outdoors were yellow bricks, the roof was green, the kitchen was all dark wood flooring and walling. It had a hallway leading to three bedrooms, a big bathroom, and a medium sized living room.
"Its everything I hoped for!" I told myself crying inside.
After the man showed us both around. He let us talk it over.
"I love it!" We both said at the same time.
"Well are you sure? What about taxes, the neighborhood? We forgot to ask." Josh said down to earth.
"We'll ask. But I think it's the house." I replied excitedly.
"Okay, we'll talk to him. But let's give ourselves more time to think." Josh told me.
"We don't have a lot of time, Josh! We have till Friday to be out of that stupid apartment." I yelled.
"If you weren't so stubborn -we could have had a house by now!" Josh cried as he left the room to the man.
I started to cry, so I headed to the car.
"Were getting the house, you happy?" Josh yelled at me.
"What -really?" I asked.
"Yes!" He cried.
"Isn't that something to be excited about?" I asked.
"I don't wanna talk right now. You have been not so sweet and sunshine lately! What's going on, I'm your husband I should know!" He cried.
"I -I, I can't have any kids." I sobbed.
"What," asked Josh confused.
"I went to the doctors a few days ago to see if I was pregnant. And I'm not. If I get pregnant I could die! And they said something's wrong so I cant have any kids!" I exclaimed.
"I -I, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for getting mad. I didn't -know." He apologized.
"Its okay, you didn't know." I answered as I grasped his hand and cried in his arms.
"Don't worry we'll get through this, somehow." He mumbled.
