Michael and Luke have been fighting non-stop. Every morning one of them would wake-up to the other complaining about something. Usually they would argue until one of them fixes it and apologizes but sometimes it ended with one of them leaving. But they would always come back and apologize.

But they had been fighting for months now. But these arguments weren't like their other ones. These fights were raw, angering and tiring. Their arguments used to be about something small but as they started fighting more, they started doubting their relationship more. It was to the point where they would just wake up with a numb, tired feeling. It was as if they didn't love eachother anymore, they just needed someone to fill the empty hole in them that started forming since the arguments started to become heavy. One morning Luke woke up to someone talking in the living room. His eyes landed on the alarm clock on his night stand, whcih said 5AM. He looked at the other side of the bed, seeing that Luke already got out of bed. This confused Luke, because he knew Luke would never wake up at a time like this. Luke's eyes started looking around the room, seeing that every closet door was open and some clothes were spattered around the floor. This confused Luke even more and he got out of his bed. He tugged a bit at his flannel when he stepped in the hallway, he was only wearing his boxers underneath it.

As he got closer he heard another voice. They were talking to eachother in hushed whispers, trying to be as soft as they could.

"Look, I am tired of all of this. He doesn't want me anymore and I stopped feeling anything at all. I thought he would be the one that could finally fix me, but I was wrong. He's just like everyone else. Always giving up on me."

Luke started slowly walking towards the living room. He hid behind the wall so he could hear the conversation.

"You don't know that. I would never give up on you and Luke would certainly never do that, right? I'm pretty sure about it..."

Luke was feeling beyond confused right now. What is going on?

He stepped in the living room as his eyes darted to Michael immediately. Michael was going to say something but he closed his mouth when he saw Luke. Michael was fully dressed from head to toe.  Michael was trying to say something to cover up this mess, but he decided to stay quiet. Luke's eyes fell on the person Michasl was talking to, which turned out to be Ashton. He showed up in a hoodie and sweatpants and his eyes looked tired.

Luke then saw the suitcase Michael was holding. All of it suddenly dawned on him. What shocked him the most is that he wasn't that suprised. He was struggeling to find the right words to say when the words finally came out of his mouth.

"So you're leaving," he said, the sentence rolling of his tongue.

Michael was still shocked and stayed quiet for a minute. After what felt like forever for Luke, he finally spoke .

"Ashton, can you please bring this to your car. I'll be there in a minute." while he was asking him this, Michael kept holding eye contact with Luke, his green eyes piercing through Luke's blue eyes.

Ashton hestitated at first, but eventually gave in and walked out the door with Michael's suitcase. It was only Luke and Michael now.

They both stayed quiet until Michael broke the silence. "Don't pretend to be shocked," it hurt Luke how smoothly the words left his mouth. "It's not like you didn't expect it."

"Well, maybe I expected you to act like the man you should be. Leaving early in the morning so you won't have to worry about me, like I'm some kind of toy you can throw away when you get bored." Luke's voice was hoarse but clear enough for Michael to hear.
