Chapter~8

Jamal POV

I was in the waiting room for ten hours because she was in surgery.

The same woman I saw at the park that was screaming "my baby!" was also in the waiting room, so that must be her mother.

I walked up towards her and gave her a hug.

"I know how your feeling Ms. Murray."

"Wait, Your friends with my daughter?" she questioned

"Yea I'm her boyfriend."

She let out a soft chuckle.
A man came out of nowhere and hugged her.

"Who is he?" he asked referring to me.

"Avery's boyfriend." she answered.

He looked at me up and down before turning his attention to a nurse that approached the room.

"Family of Avery Murray." she spoke holding a clip board.

We all walked up to her and waited desperately for an answer.

"I have good news and bad news, the bad news is that Miss Murray fractured her ribs and sprained her ankle. When she hit the ground she hit her head too hard on the ground and caused her to be in a coma." she explained.

"What's the good news?" we all said in unison

"The good news is that you guys can stay in the hospital room with her all day if you want and that she will wake up out her coma when she's ready." she said walking off.

We all walked in the hospital room and examined her body.

I sat in a far corner as Avery's mom and dad sat on both sides of her.

20 minutes later

"See you later." Avery's mom said before leaving out the door.

"Stay here would ya." Avery's dad said tapping me on my shoulder and following her.

I sat on the right side of Avery and dimmed the lights.

"Avery I love you with all my heart and I want you to stay, please stay!"

I said before drifting off to sleep.

Avery POV

"Am I dead?" I questioned looking around at clouds.

"Yes but now its judgment time." a voice said out of nowhere.

A big heavenly book felled before my eyes and I didn't see my name.

"I don't see my name." I said to no-one in particular.

"Then lets check the other book." the voice responded.

A big burnt, black book appeared and the other book disappeared. As the book opened smoke came out of it.

"My name isn't in this book either." I said in relief knowing I'm not going to hell.

"Your not dead yet....Wake up under the sound of my voice."

"WAKE UP!!!!!"

Aliyah POV

"AJ stop playing and give me my phone." I yelled chasing him.

"NO YOU STILL HAVEN'T PAID ME ALL MY MONEY!!" he yelled running in the bathroom

"What the freak is you talking bout?"

"Give me the full one thousand or this phone will be long gone." he threatened holding my phone over the toilet.

"Fuck that phone I could always by a new one." I lied

"Well I guess the world can find out what really happened to Avery." he threatened

"You'll be just as guilty as me." I smirked

"I ran her over only because you told me to."

"Exactly but you'll get more time in jail then me." I argued

"Because you told me to."

"If I tell you to jump off the bridge, would you?" I questioned.

"No."

"Right so give me my damn phone and go get your stupid money, it's underneath my bed.

Will Avery wake up?

Yes?
