A New Flame

Chapter 1

Ayami Sakimoto is from the hidden leaf village. Ayami's clan was slaughtered and no one knows who did it and why. Ayami was an orphan just like her best friend Naruto Uzumaki.

***Flashback***

Ayami was walking to the academy with her father when she was waiting for doors to open she looks towards a tree across from the doors and sees a boy by himself. She walks away from her father towards the boy who looked lonely. "Hi, I'm Ayami who are you?" The boy looks up towards her confused "Why are you talking to me?" Ayami looked just as confused as the boy. "Why do you ask that?" The boy looked at her for a while trying to figure out why she was talking to him. "I'm Naruto." "You know the kids here will judge you for talking to me?" Ayami looked at Naruto then towards the other students who were looking at her like she was a demon. She then loks back at Nartuo and gives him a big toothy smile "Does it look like I care about what they think?"

***End of flashback***

5 Years after she befriended Naruto they are still best friends today! They are even on the same team. ( Author's note: I know that the teams are supposed to be 3 people but lets pretend it's 4 per team) After there first training with Kakashi Sensei. Sakura came up with the idea for the whole team to have a day to get to know each other unlike when they first met their sensei which in the teams opinion was a waste of time. But know they're all in the forest "getting to know each other" or from what Ayami is watching unfold in front of her is Sakura trying to get Sasuke to notice her then Naruto trying to get Sakura's attention. While Kakashi just sitting with the team reading Icha Icha or how Naruto likes to call it Kakashi's "perve book". Ayami was just watching as Sakura failed yet another time to get Sasukes attention. "I like chicken Ramen. What's your favorite flavor of Ramen Sasuke?" Sakura looked at Sasuke with hopeful eyes praying he answers the question. Sasuke looks up and answers with a hum indicating he wasn't listening the whole time. Sakura looks down at the ground disappointed. Naruto jumps about to tell Sakura his favorite ramen when Ayami stopped him and jumped into the conversation saying "Why don't we train! We always have fun training." The moment those words left Ayami's lips it grabbed Sasukes attention in a heart beat which Sakura noticed thinking "How could Ayami do this to me! I thought we were friends! That backstabbing lowlife!" Sakura stopped looking at Sasuke and gave Ayami a look of death. Ayami was walking with Naruto to the training grounds when she looks to her left and sees Sakura looking towards her with a pissed off look. Ayami gave her a confused look to question why Sakura was looking at her like that. Sakura just looked away while rolling her eyes. Once they got to the training grounds Sakura finally spoke a word since the 20 minute walk " Kakashi sensei can we practice combat with each other?" while she said that Sakura was sending looks of daggers towards Ayami, which made Ayami even more confused why Sakura was suddenly wanting to fight her. " Well if that's what you guys want to do today go ahead ill over watch the matches" "GREAT! I want to fight Ayami" Sakura said with an evil smirk on her face. Kakashi looked as surprised as the rest of the team Sakura never wanted to volunteerly fight Ayami. Kakashi, Naruto and Sasuke all looked towards Ayami to see how she felt about Sakura wanting to fight Ayami, let's just say she wasn't looking forward to it. "Why does Sakura want to fight me all of the sudden? Did I do something to get her mad?" Ayami thought back to the beginning of the day to now she kept thinking and couldn't figure out what she did. She kept thinking until the voice of a certain pink hair girl took her out of her thoughts. "Are you going to fight or stand there with Sasuke and let me win?" Ayami finally spoke up "Bring it on billboard brow" with a smirk when she saw Sakura's eye twitch at the mention of her childhood nickname. Ayami took off her jacket and hair tie to let her dark brown hair fall out of its ponytail. Ayami gave her belongings to Naruto to hold it for her, Ayami walked towards the center where Kakashi and Sakura were at. Ayami got into a defensive postion so did Sakura about ten seconds later Kakashi screamed "begin!"
