Ayami got into a defensive position so did Sakura about ten seconds later Kakashi screamed "begin!"
The moment Kakashi said those words the two girls just stood in a defense position waiting for the other to make the first move.
***Sasuke's POV***
"What are they waiting for their wasting my time" Sasuke looked towards Sakura and sees her going for her shuriken. Sasuke smirks "wow Sakura is going make the first move, impressive."
***Sakura's POV***
"Why isn't she making the first move!" "Maybe she's trying to tell us that we're going to back down since were friends" "HA! I'm not going to let her win that easy" I grab my shuriken and throw it at Ayami, I got ready for Ayami to dodge my attack but she didn't move. "Ayami!!!!" Naruto and Sasuke screamed when they saw the shurikens hit Ayami square in the chest. I dropped to the floor once I realized what I did. "Did I just kill her...?"
***Ayami's POV***
"Do they really think she killed me?" "HA! That pink hair fangirl needs to do better than a couple of shuriken to kill me" "Let me release the jutsu before someone starts crying" Ayami release her water clone and watched her team see her "Body" become a puddle.
***Naruto's POV***
My best friend is dead... what am I going to do. Sakura is the one who killed her all because she wanted to impress Saskue. I looked at Ayami's body and came to find it was a clone and Ayami is alive. But where is she?
***Third person POV***
Sasuke looks at Naruto and is confused why he looks so happy he thought Ayami was his best friend. Sasuke follows Naruto gaze and sees Ayami in a tree a few feet away from the battle. Confused Sasuke looks to where Ayami's "body" was at and comes face to face with a puddle. Kakashi clears his throat and speaks up "Um, Sakura are you going to continue fighting or let Ayami win?" Sakura looks up with puffy eyes meaning she thinks she killed Ayami she sniffled a little bit before speaking "what do you mean? Ayami is dead look." When Sakura sees Ayami used a clone to "fake" death it infuriates Sakura "COME OUT AYAMI!"
***Sakura's POV***
Did she really trick me into thinking I killed her! I focused my charka to find her after a moment or two I figured out she was in tree only 5 feet from where I was standing. I jumped up to the nearest branch and threw 3 shurikens at Ayami. She easily dodge them and dropped to the ground where the fight started. I started to regret wanting to fight her. She's way stronger than me and she knows it but she's holding back...
***Ayami's POV***
I looked up to Sakura she was clearly thinking. I don't want to fight her but I can't let her win cause shell know I'm letting her win. I watched as Sakura jumped down from the tree to be right in front of me. "Ayami why aren't you fighting?!" "Are you afraid of losing to me?" Saukra asked me in a stupidly cocky voice. "You're from the Sakimoto Clan one of the strongest clans in the village well second strongest compared to the Uchiha Clan" Sakura looked at Saskue giggly and blushing slightly. "Kiss ass" I muttered "What did you say?!" Sakura screamed I looked at Sakura like she's the most oblivious person in the world. "I said you're a kiss ass, because you constantly suck up to Uchiha who pays no attention to you and he would rather be training instead of speaking to any of us honestly. Cause he has a purpose and has a life goal. Want to know why I'm stronger than you Sakura? Because I don't pay attention to the things that don't matter like petty little crushes that honestly won't matter in the long run. Don't constantly hope for Naruto, Sasuke or even me to save you. You need to fight for yourself. I'm not going to fight you if the reasons you want to fight me is to impress Saskue." I started to walk away from her and I heard her grabbing her shurikens. I quickly turned and dodge the attack I hear her mumbled under her breath "I'm fighting for myself today" I smirked to myself, I finally cracked her.
***Kakashi's POV***
I watched the girls exchange of words while they were talking I walked over to Naruto and Saskue "Who do you think would win this?" I asked curiously "obviously Ayami she has the quickest reflects and has the best counter attacks!" Naruto exclaims. "Mhm, What about you Saskue?" "I don't know I've never seen Ayami fight since Sakura never wanted to fight her until now." Saskue says truthfully. We focus our attention back to the girls. "You know Ayami is very strong and is a difficult person to go up against, she and Saskue had the exact same scores in the academy. Sakura knows Ayami is stronger than she is that's why she never wanted to fight." Both of the boys looked shocked at my words "Wait she had the same score as me they said I had the top score!" Saskue exclaims "Both of you were told the same thing she doesn't know about you to having the same scores, like I said she is very powerful and quick on her feet she was trained by one of the top Clans in the village." Saskue looked at Ayami in amazement
***Sakura's POV***
I dodged Ayami's wind release I looked to my right I see Saskue looking at me! LOOK CUTE BE IRRESEABLOE!
***Ayami's POV***
I looked at Sakura dodge my attack she's gotten slightly better. She starts to giggle and act innocent... I looked at what she was looking at not so surprising it was Saskue she was looking at. I took this as an opportunity to attack I threw 4 shurikens at her purposely aiming away from her to make it seem like I missed her and the other two were going miss as well.
***Sakura's POV***
I snapped out of my daydream when I felt wind rush pass my face I turned around to see 2 shurikens hit the tree behind me. I smirked "looks like you've lost your touch Ayami" I turned around to face her she smirked back "Did I?" right after she responded another 2 shuriken were thrown at me giving me barely enough time to dodge. While dodging the 2 shurikens I turned to where Ayami was only to find out she wants there anymore. I got into a defensive position.
***Ayami's POV***
While Sakura was dodging my shurikens I performed the clone jutsu and made myself and my 2 clones jumped into the trees before Sakura turned around. I watched as she turned around to find out I wasn't there anymore she got into a defensive position. I dropped one of my clones to distract her. Sakura doesn't lower her guard. My clone starts to fight Sakura until she's right in the middle of the field where I'm at. Slowly they start to move closer to the center. Once they got to the center the other clone threw 4 shurikens at her while I threw 2. It's difficult to dodge 6 shuriken coming from 2 different directions.
***Third person POV***
Once Sakura realize Ayami was a clone it was too late to dodge the 6 shuriken coming her way she could only try to block it with her own. Sakura quickly threw 4 shurikens hoping to at least decrease the number coming towards her she hit 4 shuriken and quickly tried to dodge the other 2. Which surprising she did dodge. The real Ayami jumped down from the trees to come face to face with a rather furious Sakura. Sakura quickly performed fire ball jutsu so quick Ayami didn't comprehend the hand signs she was making. "FIRE BALL JUTSU!" Balls of fire were coming at Ayami quickly. Ayami quickly gather all her chakra to her feet so the impact of the fire wouldn't send her flying into a tree. Sakura smirked when the fire ball hit Ayami. Kakashi looked amused since he knew Ayami was immune to any fire attack. Ayami grabbed the fire ball and started to eat the flames. Saskue, Naruto and Sakura looked at her in shock watching her eat the flames. "Thanks Sakura I was feeling a little bit hungry!" Sakura dropped to her knees weak by using the last of her chakra on the fire ball jutsu.
***Saskue's POV***
She can eat fire? How? That's insane. I looked at Ayami who was looking blankly at Sakura "You should know you opponent before you want to fight them" Ayami said while walking towards Naruto and I. "AYAMI HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!?" Naruto screamed rather loud in my ear. I looked at her to signal I was wondering the same thing. "I'll explain when Sakura is strong enough to remember all of this" Kakashi said
