Chapter 5

Ashton's POV

I knocked on Kaylee's door lightly.

"Luke, I told you I would talk to you later, go away!" She yelled.

"Kaylee, it's me." I said.

She sighed "Come in Ashton."

I opened the door slowly and saw her sitting on the ground, tears streaming down her face. I closed the door and sat beside her. She looked at me and started sobbing. I pulled her into a tight hug.

We sat like that for 10 minutes before I finally spoke up. "He's really upset about this, Kaylee." I said softly.

"He just doesn't understand. I want him to love me back so badly, it hurts." She whispered, crying harder.

"He's an idiot." I said pulling her closer.

"No I am. I'm just his naïve best friend who believed that he could actually love me back. I'm always just gonna be the best friend in love with him, never falling in love with anyone else because I just love him so much. I'll be forced to watch from the sidelines while he falls in love, settles down and starts a family with someone else. I'm always gonna be a Heartbreak Girl. Can you please go Ash, I just need to be alone right now." She talked and I listened. I hugged her tight one more time and left like she asked me to.

Luke's POV

"He just doesn't understand. I want him to love me back so badly, it hurts." Kaylee whispered. I could tell she was crying. I was listening through the door.

If only she knew how much I loved her to. If she would just talk to me I could finally tell her.

"He's an idiot." Ashton replies. God do I know it.

I sank to my knees and put my head in my hands. Her door opened and closed and I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. I looked up to see Ashton kneeling in front of me. He looked at me and said "Luke, you need to fix this, like, now."

"I know." I managed to choke out.

And with that he stood and left me there. Once again I was alone.

Calum's POV

One Week Later

Me and the boys were sitting playing video games on Luke's couch when we heard the front door slam and then someone shouted "Honeys we're hoooome." Followed by a string of girly laughing.

I smiled, jumped up and ran to the front door. Casi, Kat and Katie, my sisters best girl friends were standing there.

"Casi!" I yelled. I ran over to her, picked her up, spun her around and kissed her quickly.

When I put her down she laughed. "Miss me?" She smirked. The three of them I had been on vacation in England for the passed month.

I smiled "Of course!" She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me again.

"I missed you to." She said.

"Hey, what about us? Didn't you miss us to?" Katie asked, smiling, motioning between herself and Kat.

I looked at her and raised my eyebrows. "Why would I miss my sister's best friends?"

"Believe it or not, even though Casi is your girlfriend, she is still one of Kaylee's best friends." Kat laughed. Then Kat and Katie pushed by me.

Casi laughed, grabbed my hand and led me into the living room with everyone else.
