Eiji means 'second born' so I thought it would be a funny name for Keiji his younger brother.

Akaashi opened his eyes. Everything was silent again he would almost think it was all a dream. But the pain in his arms and the scent of smoke brought him back to the painful reality. He brushed the ashes off of his face with his arm and tried to stand up. But his knees were too weak to support him. He heard someone coughing and looked beside him. An old man was leaning against the ruïnes of his house.
"You alright boy?"
Akaashi nodded gently and tried to stand up once again. His knees were shaking but he was able to take some steps towards the old man.
"Where is everyone?"
"They're either dead or they were able to escape." he didn't say it with any emotion in his voice.
Again, Akaashi nodded. He looked towards the castle and saw a horrible sight. The only thing standing was one of the towers and it didn't look like it was stable enough to keep standing. He didn't want to do it, but something inside of him told him to go take a look. Weakly and slowly, Akaashi made his way towards the ruïnes of the castle. He felt terrible. For some reason he couldn't cry. The emotions he felt were simply too much for a reaction. He tried to walk towards the place where the ballroom used to be. Burned wood crushed beneath his feet as he reached the ballroom. His eyes caught something glinstering in between the burned stuff. He bowed down and picked it up. It wasn't hot anymore but it clearly melted. Akaashi didn't know for how long he had been unconscious. It has been long enough for the fire to go out and the burned wood to cool down. He turned the thing around in his hand and his heart skipped a beat.
It was a ring.
His mothers ring to be precise. The wedding ring of his parents. He gagged and closed his eyes. He was standing in his mothers ashes. He turned around and took a deep breath. His longs filled with smoke and ashes once again, making him cough. He put the ring in his pocket as he tried to find more stuff that had survived the fire. He was walking through the kitchen parts when something grabbed his ankle. He screamed and tried to kick whatever, or whoever, had grabbed his ankle but stopped himself as soon as he saw some black hair and two deep grey eyes.
"Help me"
He threw the pillars and pieces of wood to the side. Underneath all the burned was a little boy.
"Eiji! Are you alright? Shit.. did mom and dad escape?"
His little brother shook his head as Akaashi helped him up. He flinched in pain as soon as he stood on his own legs. Akaashi looked down and immediately realized that Eiji his leg had been crushed by the large pillar on top of him.
"Can you stand on it?"
Eiji shook his head. Akaashi bend down and gestured that Eiji had to climb on his back. They made their way out of the castle ruïnes and the old man started to made all kinds of weird movements with his arms. Akaashi raised his eyebrow until he heard a deep voice behind him.
"Stop in your tracks and drop the boy."
Akaashi did what he asked and gently placed his younger brother on the ground.
"Turn around and put your hands in the air."
When Akaashi turned around he knew who it was. The white and light blue armor made it clear that these man were in the army of Oikawa. They pointed all kinds of weapons that Akaashi had never seen before at him. Beside him, the old man got thrown to the ground together with five other people.
"Are these all the people you could find?" the other soldiers nodded at the question as they began to tie Akaashi and the others up with thick ropes.
---
"Keiji, I'm scared" whispered Eiji.
They were all walking in one line tied up and attached to one long rope that the soldier in the front was holding. Akaashi smiled sadly at his brother but didn't answer. He didn't know what to do. He had to escape somehow, save the people of his village that were still alive. He knew it wasn't possible to do it right now, maybe at the place where they were going.
As soon as they reached the camp of the soldiers Akaashi got separated from the others. His brother screamed his name but got kicked as punishment before turning a corner. Akaashi inhaled deeply and tried not to cry as he looked up to the dark sky. One of the soldiers threw him to the ground and snickered as he locked the door. It seemed impossible to escape like this. His wings were by far not strong enough to reach the gap in the wall on the top of this.. this.. what even was it? A tower? Akaashi leaned his back against the wall and moved his pitch black wings. He could try at night when a guard wasn't looking.
So he did it.
He waited for hours until the guard fell asleep. Akaashi grinned to himself as he quietly stood up. The light of the moon was shining beautifully through the gap in the wall. He wondered if it was big enough for him to climb through. He steadied his feet and quietly started moving his wings. In a minute or so, his feet started to leave the ground. It was hard and painful to reach the gap. He didn't know how long it took him, but he was exhausted. If he just folded his wings and jumped he could make it and escape. But his brother.. he would come back for him later.
Akaashi took a deep breath as he checked the grounds of the camp one last time. He waited until he was fully recovered from the flight to come up here before jumping out of the gap. He fell a couple meters down before he could stay steady in the air. He was lucky that his wings were this dark. If he had inherited his mothers wings, as white as snow and beautifully big, he would have had a bigger problem.
Akaashi thought he could make it, he really did. He was so close to the walls of the camp. He smiled and felt his heartbeat rate up faster than his speed. If he just extended his arm he could reach it and jump down on the other side. His fingers were centimeters away from the stone when he felt something around him. His wings got thrown against his own body and he was unable to move.
They had caught him.
Caught him in a huge net to prevent him from escaping. He was so close, so damn close and yet. He started to fall at a rapid speed and collided with the ground seconds after. He groaned from pain as three soldiers crossed their arms and let out a dark laugh.
"You really thought you could escape huh? Guess we had underrated the strength of your wings." he spit in Akaashi his face as the other soldiers laughed.
Little did Akaashi know that the punishment would be a hundred times worse than the pain he was feeling from colliding with the ground. But he would find out that soon enough.
"Tomorrow morning at sunrise we will gather around to take them off. Everyone shall watch."
