'How do you do that?' Daisy asked as we left the Leadership and KYE room.

'I observe.'

'I observe, but how do you get all of that?'

'No, you look. There's a difference.'

Daisy gave up after that.

In Combat Training, we were practising hand-to-hand combat, so Daisy and I spent most of the lesson sparring in the back, as we had been told to do.

And then we went to dinner.

And then we fixed our kit up.

And went to bed.

And repeated.

The only mildly interesting thing that happened was in the stimulator chamber the next day - I deduced the killer after hearing the first statement, and Miss was, once again, left looking rather stunned.

Her facial expression was very amusing.

We were inside a stimulator room, during Fitness. An assault course was laid out in front of us - ropes, mud, ladders...

'And... Go!' Called out The Instructor, and everyone surged forwards.

We crawled underneath a series of tightly-pulled ropes, fighting our way to the other side. Then, we had to sprint along a pathway, and then jump over a three-meter long (in width) hole. There was a force-field at the bottom to bounce you back up if you fell, and you would have to go back and take the run again. Myself, Daisy and about three others were the only ones to make the leap on the first try.

Then, we had to climb a rope ladder up halfway to the ceiling, and then walk across a tightrope. Next, we took a leap of faith, grasping a trapeze and swinging across the room and into a giant foam pit. Afterwards, we struggled through the pit and climbed out, before climbing up a vertical rope and ringing a bell halfway up the wall.

Then, we turned around and completed the course backwards. Myself and Daisy reached the place we had started first, at the same time.

The Instructor then had us scale rock walls and ropes for the next half an hour, before we swung across ropes.

I failed to see why these exercises would be significant, but this lesson was very fun, which was something we could rarely say about a Fitness lesson.
