"We are here."
The case itself was already eerie, but the fact that he stood in the place where a mysterious murder occurred was even more terrifying.
"Alright. Let's go in."
The criminologist hesitated. The doorknob. It looked so, foreign. Like he had never seen such a thing before. It was, unique perhaps. That must have been what caught the criminologist's attention.
He closed his hands around the sterling silver doorknob and turned it.
Pushing the door open took more than just gut. It also required that you acknowledged the death of someone you haven't met.
That, was what the criminologist lacked.
Yet he opened the door with his heart in hand.
"Oh my word."
What he saw did not give him time to process it.
It was about twelve hours after the crime was set and was taken into action.
Yet the horrendous sight shook the criminologist to his core.
Nothing could have prepared him for this.
Jungkook's body was already taken to the authorities for the autopsy.
A fourth of the blood had been taken for a DNA test.
The objects that were reported were taken for fingerprints and evidence.
Yet, from all of that, he couldn't figure out who the killer was.
Granted, he wasn't a detective. But this didn't settle right.
There was still a mystery to be solved.
Who killed Jungkook?
