Namjoon ushered the others out. The last thing he did before leaving the room was sending the dirtiest glare at the criminologist.

"S-sir, all of the suspects left."

A worker spoke as he fidgeted with his hands.

"I know. They spilled a supposed secret."

"O-oh- Ms. Assistant is over in the investigation wing. You might want to see her."

"Alright. Thank you."

"Assistant!"

He stormed in with news like no other.

"What do you want. We could have found the murderer."

"Well you're wrong."

"How so. Tell me."

"Jungkook had depression and was partially suicidal."

"What?"

"It appears so. Here. Let me take all of the info and show you."

The investigation team and assistant moved aside, making way for the criminologist.

"See here. On the knife that had Namjoon's blood? The handle has Jungkook's fingerprints. That could possibly mean that he was going to stab himself instead of cutting the cake. But, Namjoon could have tried to stop Jungkook. Therefore, earning that nasty cut on his finger. Now, let's look at the corpse, or what info we have. Now we don't see any remains of cake. The vomit was also confirmed as Hoseok's. Assistant, you can vouch for that right?"

The assistant nodded.

"He had a bit of azaleas left in his system, but the doctors managed to get it out and inject an antidote just in case."

"There. We have a witness. But back to the corpse. The authorities have concluded that the only way Jeon Jungkook could have died was from overdose on depressant pills, or pills in general."

"Well, what about the pool of blood? Or the glass? The fact that he was all properly upright?"

"That was all staged. You see, Seokjin was a beautician and a doctor. He, of all of them, would be the most qualified to make Jungkook look presentable in honor of the dead."

"But- they knew?"

"We can only infer that they did. We can ask Seokjin later, since we still have him. Also, the glass and blood. You've already established that the glass had all of their blood on it. The blood that was on the floor was concluded to have Kim Seokjin, Kim Namjoon, Kim Taehyung, Min Yoongi, Park Jimin, and Jung Hoseok's blood."

"Then..-"

"Yes. All staged. Except for the death. We were nearly fooled, if it weren't for the slip of Namjoon's mouth."

"We should go to Seokjin then."

"Right."

"We are here to apologize and confirm something."

"And what pleasure do I have of helping you."

"You will be set free. You and your friends will not be touched ever again."

"Tsk- fine. Only for them. What do you want."

"Was Jeon Jungkook responsible for his death?"

"That's for you to find out, right?"

"We already did."

"Then you have your answer."
