The Hero

Bokken Tekina a 20 year old man who loved to help all the animals in the area of his forest home. Bokken's home was a wonderful place. Filled with grass and trees. It was always so peaceful. And the best part was that there was always something new to explore. One day Bokken found his best bird friend Toriyama being chased by bird hunters, wanting to sell the rare bird's feathers for a fortune. Bokken hated to be seen by other people but what he hated more was his friends being hurt. Bokken was a strong man but wasn't good at thinking of plans. His strength and love for the forest animals was how he had not been killed yet. So with all his strength, he charged at the hunters, grabbed Toriyama and ran as fast as he could, as to not be seen by the hunters. "What was that," said one hunter. "That was terrifying," said another hunter. "What we need to worry about is what happened to the bird, you idiots!" Bokken was hit by some of the hunter's guns but Toriyama had not received even a scratch. "You are free now friend. Those evil men will never harm you again." And with that, Toriyama flew away. Bokken was so relived. He had saved his best friend. This was truly the best day of his entire life.
