The Battle for Survival

To The City

"Come here you pesky bird. I just need a few of your feathers. You can give me some. Or fry." Toriyama  flew and flew but he was just getting more tired. Then he started to fall and a deer came charging towards him and caught him on his back.  Then, as the deer went to run, the hunter quickly plucked a feather from Toriyama. But Toriyama was too tired to feel the pain and let out a small squeak. Then him and the deer ran away, to safety. To Bokken. They ran and ran. Then Toriyama saw something in the sky, too big to be a bird. They he saw it look down at them. Toriyama was so scared, he almost exploded from the fear but the deer was calm. Then it swooped down and charged for them. "Were going to die." Toriyama thought. He closed his eyes and waited to be crushed or eaten by the beast. Then a felt a tap on his head. "Toriyama, it's me Bokken. Your safe now."  He used his power of flight to go into the air and search for the hunter.  He scanned the whole forest but saw nothing. Then he saw coming from the direction of the city a squirrel running towards Bokken. He heard, going through his head, "Help, help. All are doomed. An evil man has made made something big. Just for you Bokken." "Where is it?" said Bokken. "It's in the city." "Well . I guess I will face my first fear." Then Bokken flew down to the squirrel. It had a small disc on its back. "Take this Bokken. It will disguise you as one of the people in the city." Bokken tapped the disc and his clothes completely changed. He was no longer wearing his normal torn battle clothes. But he was now wearing a white shirt with skinny black trousers. "This is horrible," said Bokken. "Do all of them live like this?" "Some of them do," said the squirrel. "Well, off to the city I go." And he walked towards the city. And feared his big suprise.
