Pidge's P.o.v.
"Lance? Hunk?" I heard a girl's voice asked. We all looked up and saw a girl a few inches taller than me standing there with a little kid.

"Y/n!" They both said at the same time. Y/n. I thought. A beautiful name for a beautiful face. Wait what?

I snapped out of my daze at the mention of the white lion. "Y/n's our girl. She's always wanted to be a doctor, plus she's like, crazy good at it. When she was in first grade and I was in fourth, I was chocking on a hotdog and she saved me before her mom could even come out of the house!" Lance said.

Wow. She's pretty and talented. I really need to stop thinking these thoughts!

We lead her to the white lion after a while, me tuning out not listening to what was being said. It turned out she was the white paladin.

How cool is it to have another girl paladin?

After she came out of the lion, Allura showed her to her room, which is right across the hall from mine. "If you need any help at all, I'm sure you can find one of us. Pidge's room is right across the hall, but then again she's rarely ever in there." Allura said.

"That's not true!" I yelled defensively. Everyone looked at me and sighed, knowing it really is. Y/n however, just looked at me curiously, making me blush a little. Wait, why am I blushing? I never blush. Ever.

"Pidge, are you blushing?" Keith asked, making me blush more at being noticed.

"N-no. But I'm sure you'd be blushing when Lance-" I was cut off by Shiro putting his human hand over my mouth, making my words muffled.

Stupid space Dad.

"Is it always like this?" Y/n asked.

"Pretty much I do my best to stay out of it though." Hunk said in response.

"This is all great, but Y/n has to stay here. At least for a while." Some other girl said.

"S/n is right. I can't leave yet. There's still the funeral, and-" Lance cut her off.

"What funeral?" He asked, eyes widening in surprise.

"Our mom died in a car accident earlier today. We were hit by a drunk driver." She choked out, tears welling up in her eyes before pouring out of her face.

She seemed to immediately lean toward the other girl for protection.

"Oh my god. Y/n that's terrible. I'm so sorry." Hunk said, going to hug both of the girls, taking Lance with him.

"We should stay, pay our respects. M/n was like a second mother to us."

"Yeah, okay. You can all come if you want." Y/n said, looking directly at me.

I don't know who this girl is, but I really want to get to know her.
