It was almost sunset when we were finally close enough to the island that we had a clear view of it all. I climb up the neck of the dragon to get a better view. "The Lone Islands, the port of Narrowhaven." The Captain says aloud to Caspian, Ed and I as we now all stood on the forecastle deck.

"Strange.. not a Narnian flag in sight." Caspian says holding up the spyglass to his eye.

"But haven't the Lone Islands always been Narnia's?" I ask them, they all nod. It was now Ed's turn to look through the spyglass. He shakes his head.

"Seems suspicious." Captain Drinian says.

"I say we prepare a landing party." Edmund suggest. Of course, I agree, being ready and excited for any sign of danger. "Drinian?" Caspian and the Captain seemed to give a look at each other that seemed disapproving.

"Forgive me, your Majesties, but the chain of commands start with King Caspian then Queen Denali, on this ship."

"Right.." Ed holds rather disappointed. I smile at him sadly, mouthing a 'Sorry'.

"We'll use longboats. Drinian, pick some men and come ashore. Denali, you and Edmund can come to the artillery with me." I nod and take Ed's hand as we walk down the steps. "Tavros."

"Man the longboats, furl the sail and prepare to drop the anchor." He yells out commands like he did during the storm.

Whilst we wait for the boats, we head into Caspian's quarters and he throws me a sword and throws Ed one too. I tie my hair up so it won't get in my way just in case something happens. We head out and board the boats and I give Ed a kiss as I board one with Drinian instead of the one with Ed, Lu and Caspian.

"Where is everyone?" I hear Lucy say as soon as I catch up to them.

"I think it's rather sketchy." I shrug but follow them anyways, "Do you think they're hiding?"

I then hear a grunt from behind us and I see Eustace on the stone steps. "And you're certain he's related by blood?" Lucy turns back and sighs but keeps walking forward. Ed assists me up the stairs before we scout out the dock. Everything was so quiet.. but the loud chime of a large bell disturbed the silence, frightening me. I quickly grab hold of Edmund's arm before I realize it was already over. Everyone was taken aback.

Caspian slowly points his crossbow towards the tower. Birds flew away and I just kept inhaling deeply to soothe my breathing until I began to breathe normal again. I follow Edmund up a ramp when Caspian gives Reep orders to stay here with the rest of the crew. "If we don't come back by dawn, send a party." I hold on to the sword's handle in its sheath and start walking behind Ed cautiously, waiting for any sudden movements.

We begin to walk through the abandoned village and I couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. We kept walking and walking until it began to grow dark. Edmund and I walk side by side as we follow Caspian. Lucy trails behind us as Eustace just wanders. "Yeah.. it looks like nobody's in. Do you think we should go back?" He says quickly, almost panicked.

"Don't you think we should help him a little? It's his first time here." I whisper to Ed. He rolls his eyes but nods down at me as we both turn to face him.

"Do you want to come here and guard.. something?" Edmund suggests. I snort as he hurriedly comes towards us agreeing.

"Good idea, cousin. Very.. uh logical!" he looks at us anticipatingly. I don't take my eyes off of him when Caspian hands him a dagger. He nods and looks at it in disbelief.
